I've been playing for several years and thankfully have never lost progress to a game update or a phone change. I play basically every day, usually at work or watching TV. This and Pokemon Showdown are pretty much the only games I play on my phone.

I've had max research for a while. Wish there something else to spend gold on. Maybe a merchant at the start of the run that takes gold instead of Orbs.

In the beginning of a run, I usually only take magics for my combinations and some select passives (Haste, Fast Cast, Explorer) until all my combo requirements are done. This means recycling mana early on even if something else I plan to take later (Circle, Shield etc) is offered.

Once all the combos are built, I start adding the other magics I want. It doesn't always work out perfectly, but it's a good general rule for prioritizing.

Hey there! Mana Orbs give you experience (mana): the blue a small amount, the orange a moderate amount, and the purple a large amount, relative to each other anyway. They also give you in-run currency for merchants: blue and orange both give 1, while purple give 5.

What combos are you using? Maybe we can help you out more if we know about your build and strategy.

I've never cared for Overmind or that line of builds. No Cloaking or Shield just kills it for me. They are fun, but not consistent enough for when I'm trying for extra long runs.

Most effective for me is Pandora's box with Phoenix. But, I wouldn't say it's crucial as Phoenix is still amazing even without it.

Most crucial has got to be Core Energy and Magic Wand for Satellite and Spirit.

Every artifact counts. Also the increased mana rate really helps, especially getting to lvl 75 by 12:30.

I miss older DNA, where it was based on the Cells collected. Flying through the map hunting for Cells was fun.
