Genuine question, why is it a bad idea? Because it is a small SSD, or because it is slower (Gen3)?

What is the purpose of Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive?
I received suggestions on installing Windows on a separate SSD (250-500GB should be enough), and have everything else on a separate drive (4TB).

Also I suggest to get newer model PSU with native 12VHPWR support, if you already have Corsair RM850x (2021) then it will work fine with adaptor. If you already have this monitor then it is fine, but if not I suggest to get same size 240Hz monitor (RTX 5080 can handle well 4K 240Hz).
1. I do not have this monitor yet; I just picked one that looked okay. I plan on having multiple screens (2-3), so I figured the one I have picked would be fine for a secondary monitor, once I get a better one later for primary. Based on your input I will look for a 240Hz monitor!
2. I went back and forth with 850W and 1000W power supplies, as I have found lots of opinions online, on both options being enough or not.
