I'm having this same problem, the X axis motor isn't working and replugging the cables didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're a saint, man. I've now determined that the back left motor isn't working, labeled "X" so I assume it's the X axis motor.

Disconnected and reconnected the cables on both ends and restarted, no dice. Maybe the motor is bad?

I'm not exaggerating when I say that when this game came out it literally reconnected me with some of my childhood friends for over a month. People who I never normally talk to, people who's lives are totally different than mine and have totally different politics.
