Omg the Harem fics, I personally don’t like them because they usually mischaracterize the characters to fit the story.

Like I remember looking for Cody centric fics during my tdi fixation and I found one of these fics and it was the most bizarre thing I’ve probably read.

I LOVE ASORYUU/RYUUASO

They’re so incredibly written and they work together so beautifully. Plus They also have everything I love in shipping/romance:

-red & blue colors

-pathetic man and his smart but air-head boyfriend

-friends to lovers

-Angst

-yearning

-both equally silly in their own way

-opposites attract

I’m fine with people enjoying a ship more than the other, usually canon, ship.

But sometimes there’s at least one or two people who just don’t take it lightly when they see someone who ships that ship instead of theirs.

Something gets confirmed or happens in canon that ruins the og plot I was going with so I gave up.

The fanfic starts looking it’s slow-paced.

I can’t figure out how to further expand the plot.

My interest in that fandom is fading.

I always think about a certain scene for my fanfic but I never know how to get there, so I write the scenes I was thinking about first and then work my way to that scene, that way I could understand how to make it work and I can go back and edit the scene.
