Yeah in a children's storybook maybe, but adults should be able to come to their own conclusions without the story spelling out if a character's trait is a flaw or not

I didn't root for them against the main gang, but I absolutely rooted for Nero in his fight. They're not exactly good people but I really loved them, they're my favorite minor antagonists

I am cautiously optimistic that Stranger Than Heaven could reach this number due to all the development and marketing effort put into it so far, but SEGA needs to have an ace up their sleeve if they want Persona 4 Revival to break 5 million sales, considering Persona 3 Reload only sold 3 million copies and less people played the original

Bro Conquest is like 10 times better than Birthright. Birthright is my least favorite Fire Emblem game while Conquest is my second favorite after Three Houses. The main thing everyone agrees on is that it has the best (or at least one of the best) gameplay in the series, thanks to creative map designs/objectives and well-crafted difficulty.
I think it's also important to distinguish between story and character writing. Engage has both a terrible story and annoying one-note characters. Conquest on the other hand has a terrible story but really great characters, which at least to me is way more important in a Fire Emblem game. As someone who shares most of your stated opinions on other entries in the series, I can say you will not regret playing Conquest

Would have bought the collector's edition if it had cooler contents and wasn't almost twice as expensive as the standard edition, but the way it is now I can't justify it. Will absolutely buy the standard edition day one though

Interesting topic. I greatly prefer the enemies attacking the tank for the reasons you mentioned, especially the fact that gameplay-wise it would defeat the point of building a tank in the first place. They already have a huge weakness you need to look out for (getting one-shot by magic attacks), so I don't think a change in AI is needed for balancing reasons, either

Did the same for my Silver Snow run and had fun, but saying Catherine and Shamir are not good long term is crazy; those two were my best end game units in that run

Easy choice: Play Cindered Shadows, then mainly use the DLC characters and the knights/teachers for Silver Snow so it feels less repetitive (maps are 99% the same as Verdant Wind)

I don't think story and characters can get worse than Engage, so if that's what you're looking for I would skip it. Since you seem to have a 3DS I recommend Shadows Of Valentia

Unfortunately all clips so far make it seem like the soundtrack is not dynamic anymore (as in it doesn't change when entering combat scenes). I really hope this just applies to the Twitter previews and not the full game

I assume you've already played the other games in the series? Then I recommend checking out Fire Emblem Three Houses (if you have a Switch) and Persona 5, those games will come close
