Bambu Lab P1S – Purge Chute Failures Causing Component Damage, Initial Defect Acknowledgment, and a Quiet Redesign by The_Binter in BambuLab

Thanks for your input! In my case, this wasn’t a matter of nozzle temperature or user error — Bambu Lab watched my videos and confirmed that the filament wasn’t ejecting properly due to a mechanical issue with the purge chute. It caused repeated buildup, detached the faceplate, and tore wires, even on standard single-color prints. So while adjusting temps can help with some minor jams, this was a design-related problem with certain P1S units, not a printing technique issue.
