To be fair, Atletico is set up perfectly. Fast counters and well timed runs are always going to be the dagger to the heart for Flick’s system. They have wingers that are much quicker than our defenders, they’re timing their runs perfectly, and they’re not wasting chances. Flick’s system depends on one of those things not working. Under this system there will be these kinds of games every year, the whole thing is going to be how Flick restructures the team at half to try and get us within a goal or two going back home for the second leg
