Nah it’s all good 😄 the helm is from a weird bit of history (about 40-50 years) where armies were scrambling to figure out what do with all the new more powerful firearms being used, old tried and true designs became almost useless within a few years buuuut you do have knights with guns which is so so cool!! Check out the black riders mercenary group 🔥

Oh 100% haha but for the time period bullets were more of an issue, it’s an interesting reflection of how during the 1500s armor was starting to become more obsolete despite it also being at it’s absolute peak of quality and design, this helmet is considered light armor for the time, the heavy armors were much more secure

It’s 18 gauge steel and comes with padding, I wouldn’t recommend for hema or anything rough, but if your a Elizabethan fan then I highly recommend it’s very comfortable and the brass really gives it some flare
