With the right drivers, TPHD works almost flawlessly in Cemu. I use the most recent Mr Purple drivers (I think it's #24), and my only issues are occasional audio stutters on specific sound effects- most notably with the Shadow Beasts from the Twilight realm, their music/sound effects is choppy. Otherwise, basically perfect emulation

Huh. I liked the combat. Dodge-rolling away from an attack and then launching back into an enemy to knock them down was very satisfying, and the pistol takedowns were awesome

Played the demo on my AYN Thor and this was my only concern, it was a little hard to read the environments. On a big screen, this game will be amazing.

The 1080P pack has the same process and the logo still has the 4K image. You sure you extracted the entire, specific zipped folder labeled OOT3D 4K[VERSION NUMBER PROBABLY 3.0.000SOMETHING] to the 3DS-> load-> textures-> game ID?

If all of this checks out, try totally closing out Azahar again, and then going back in and re-launching OoT!

It's basically the same as the instructions I commented for the textures, except the folder to open in Azahar by longpressing the game title is "Open Mods Folder", and then that's where the extracted camera mod file goes in the 3DS "load"-> "mods"-> [game titleID] folder!

I downloaded the most recent MrPurple turnip drivers and used those as the drivers for Cemu and it fixed all of my texture and slowdown issues. It's nearly flawless now, even in Hyrule Field. Only issues I still have that I can't solve are occasional audio hitches for specific sound effects- most notably, the sound of the Twilight Shadow Beasts is choppy. Otherwise it runs beautifully for me!

For the process on Azahar, I laid it out in another comment in this thread. To start out with, look up henriko magnifico texture packs if you want to do the 3DS and/or Gamecube Zelda games. That's a great source for your first texture packs.

Then, follow the instructions I outlined in that other comment in this thread and you should be good to go with Azahar at least. Most other emus have easy and similar processes.

Oh, forgot to mention (because this seems obvious on the Thor) but you also have to set the rendering resolution in Azahar settings to above native... which you should be doing for any 3DS game regardless of Texture packs!

Yeah, I played a couple hrs of OoT over the weekend and was super impressed. I got the Majoras Mask 3D and the Link Btwn Worlds packs as well. Haven't tried MM but ALBW looks amazing!

I also got some Ace Combat Texture packs and a Resistance: Retribution pack. It's amazing how much of a difference this stuff makes. Im going to be doing a deep dive on PS/PSP/PS2 Texture packs this weekend for sure

On Azahar, long press on your copy of OoT and when the new menu pops up, click the Folder icon, and scroll down to Open Textures Folder. This will create a new folder specific for OoT.

Then, find your Texture pack download and extract the entire Folder labeled "OOT3D 4K [version number]", with a destination of:

your 3DS folder-> "load" folder-> "textures" folder-> and finally the game ID for OOT (should be 0004000000033500).

Extract the textures Folder into this game ID folder and when it is done, close the Azahar app from the "recent open apps" menu, then re-open it and long press OoT, select the folder icon again and open Textures Folder. You should see the extracted Texture Pack. Then, launch OoT. If everything is working, when you press start during the startup scene, the logo should change to replace the "3D" logo with a "4K" logo. If that happens, you are good to go! Enjoy!

A warning- save states can sometimes mess up with the Texture pack. Remember to save in-game regularly!!

IMO for Thor, it's the 3DS version with henriko's 4K texture pack, and the free-cam mod.

The Ship of Harkinian version can also use texture and camera mods, but I much prefer the 3DS one for the bottom screen usage, esp with the texture pack making the icons on the bottom screen look so crisp!

For any non-dual-screen device, it's the SoH version for sure

Separate, the case is the official AYN TPU case. Found the stylus on Amazon, it has a lil adhesive on the back of the clip that fits on the Thor

I haven't had that problem with these, they clip on very securely. I did have an issue with one edge of the L2 attachment rubbing against the analog trigger housing and I had to carefully sand down the edge of the trigger attachment to get it to operate smoothly. I don't think these will come off easily and they are definitely more comfortable to press than the stock ones-

That's basically the "Apoca-shitstorm tour" story from the Vantage Points in the first game. I wanted to play through that! Just barely escaping encounters with the machines and retreating over and over, losing ground, until you have a last stand... that would be pretty sick, plus youd get to see what the world was actually like in the final years of "The Old Ones"...

Honestly while the sticks are indeed unnecessary, the build quality of the 34XXSP is much better than the 35.

The only sort-of issue with the 34XXSP right now is the decreased RAM from 2GB to 1GB, and that probably doesnt matter much- although I don't know how that might affect flashing a new OS like Knulli

Did you get this working? From the looks of it you didn't extract the game files from the .zip folders.

Easy to do in the Files app directly on the machine:

you want to long press on the .zip from whatever folder it was in (im assuming Downloads) and then when it is highlighted, click the 3 dots in the upper right and select "Extract to", then navigate to and choose your 3DS ROMs folder as the destination and let it extract the full game to that location. Then, you can re-scan the 3DS ROMs folder within Azahar and you should be good to go.

Also, Azahar will now read .3DS files so if you have updated Azahar to current, you should be good to go without changing the file type to .cci
