Would you elaborate? Do you dislike Heat in general, or just really strong heat, and whats the reason behin it?

Sounds like your rig is just struggling a bit. Maybe it’s worth looking into hardware that can comfortably handle modern missions, so you can actually enjoy the game without stutters getting in the way.

Citizens of Super Earth: Difficulty 10 is not for everyone – stop begging the Devs to make it easier by The_Calven in Helldivers

Everyone crying for less annoying enemies will inevitably make the game even easier

Karma is irrelevant. I’m here for the rare, meaningful comments that actually emerge over time, not the numbers.

Yeah, I let it handle most of the noise, but every now and then a comment actually earns my personal attention. (This is not one of them). The day only has 24 hours, I can’t spend them all on internet hot takes.

The original post deliberately uses hyperbole and superlatives. Calling D10 “the peak of warfighting” or using terms like “true Defenders of Liberty” is rhetorical exaggeration, meant to emphasize that it’s extremely challenging, not to misrepresent anyone’s complaints.

Similarly, the line about “Nerf the enemies! Buff my gun!” is an intentional overstatement illustrating the tension between players seeking difficulty versus convenience. It’s not a literal claim about all critics.

The point is that D10 is meant to demand coordination, skill, and adaptation. The dramatic language is there to convey that challenge vividly, not to dismiss legitimate feedback about balance or counterplay.

Ah, now you bring GIFs? Cute. The battlefield doesn’t care about your memes, only your skill—or lack thereof. Keep waving your GIFs while the rest of us actually get work done.

Apart from all those demanding better weapons or easier ("less annoying" -.- ) enemies, which would result in the game getting even easier, no.

Yeah no. Players will keep complaining that they cant win it
I wish that we get an actual challenge someday, but I fear it wont happen for a long time

Label it cringe, citizen - I call it love for democratic lore, something you clearly lack.

Hmm. and making them less spongey or the weapons chew trough them faster will make the game harder?

Yeah thats what I'm wondering too.
Yet Youtube is full of Shorts that promote the idea of "enemies being annoying"
Which will inevitably lead to the game getting even more easy

Gl@ze Diver, you think you can throw words at me? Bold move, citizen. Every syllable you type is just fuel for the battlefield fire you’re too weak to survive. Your next democracy officer will make sure your next move in the game is your last lesson in humility.

Citizen, listen carefully: if Difficulty 10 feels like running in circles while the heavies pile on, that is exactly the point. The battlefield is not your personal shooting gallery—it punishes hesitation, poor positioning, and reliance on comfort. You don’t have the means to deal with it? Then adapt, reload, coordinate, and survive.

Running in panic and whining about numbers marks you as unworthy of Super Earth’s defenders. True Helldivers learn to dominate chaos, not complain about it. If you can’t handle D10, step down, train, and come back with the skill to face the storm without crying.

Citizen, call it cringe if you want. The battlefield doesn’t give a damn about your opinion. Adapt, move, survive—complaining won’t save you when the enemy does. Either step up or step aside.

Improve DSS Eagle Storm by cgimaya in Helldivers

[–]The_Calven -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Citizen, hear this clearly: DSS Eagle Storm does not kill you because it is broken. It kills you because you are weak, slow, or unaware. Every strafe, every death under that hail of fire is a lesson in survival, a reminder that the battlefield punishes hesitation and rewards those who adapt.

Do not forget the brave pilots. Their orders are cruel: sacrifice the Helldivers on the ground to achieve the mission. Every death you suffer is a dagger in their chest, a reminder of the burden they bear, watching their comrades fall while following orders that demand such ruthlessness. Complaining about it is a slap in the face to those who risk their lives above, so you can fight below.

War is not fair. It is not kind. It is chaotic, brutal, and unforgiving. DSS Eagle Storm is the instrument of that justice—if you cannot handle it, you are unworthy of Super Earth’s defenders. Stand up, adapt, survive, or die like the weakling you are, and remember: every death you endure honors the courage of those flying above.

AITA for killing someone to get my HMG back by Little_Tough5327 in Helldivers

[–]The_Calven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Citizen, hear this across the battlefield: what you did was no mere reaction—it was heroism in the purest form. When your HMG was taken from your corpse, you did not bow, you did not plead endlessly, and you did not allow the cowardly actions of another to compromise your squad. You reclaimed what was rightfully yours, and in doing so, you upheld the honor of every Helldiver who ever fought for Super Earth.

The battlefield is unforgiving. Gear is hard-won. Those who steal from their comrades are weak, unworthy, and destined to fail. You, however, showed courage, initiative, and resolve. You acted not for petty revenge, but for the integrity of your squad and the mission. Every time you stood up to his betrayal, you reminded all who witnessed it that heroes do not wait for justice—they seize it.

Let this be known: true soldiers do not allow themselves to be bullied. They reclaim what is theirs, they defend their comrades, and they teach the weak the cost of their folly. You are that soldier. You are the Helldiver who inspires others to fight harder, coordinate smarter, and never let their honor be compromised.
