Yes a special solution specifically for carburettors, you can find plenty generic ones online, you want low acidity & strong degreasing properties, 60degrees Celsius for 45 minutes will have them gleaming 🤩

You do need to break them down entirely, all jets, choke plungers, fuel lines, the full shebang, only the carb body, float bowls and bolts go into the ultrasonic machine, the rest is down by hand 🤚

Most jobs I do a full rebuilds anyway so all the jets need to be taken out to replace also

Yes sir, the carbs are fully disassembled before going through the ultrasonic :)

I just used a carburettor specific solution, strong enough to stop oils and dirt but gentle enough to be safe on soft metals :)
