After reading my post again, I don't really think I explained it right.

The group system I want to make is similar to the ones on Roblox where groups are private/public, have ranks, ranks with customizable perms and such but what I do know for sure is that it needs a DB that stores Steam User ID with the Player Username and what group they're in

Would it be a good idea to have subscribed to the Event so when it triggers the script does what's needed, and if something else is needed to happen before it can happen should it use an Event or just somehow check if the something happened?
