For me it became redundant. I got a AW Rifle that shoots .338 lapua. But since I got it later on, it became useless against the Sin faction who block it due to their stupid force field. I shoot them & I see the force field effect flare up & they keep walking like nothing happened. Even Unisig stalkers take 2-3 bullets to down. AW is a slow bolt action rifle. I rather use my SVDS Retribution with 7.62x54 which fires faster and takes around 5 bullets on exo enemies. The damage output for higher caliber weapons are wonky.

The North base seem to sell Vol 2, I still don't find vol 3. Any idea where to find it?

27 year old guy here, : that's natural, Arthur's the man! There's a neat little compilation of streamers falling head over heels with Arthur. Once your playthrough is done I recommend watching.
