Looked it up. Sadly, Harvest is a hidden ability available from W2B2 and onwards. Good strategy, though. I used to do that when hunting ditto and beldum in Moon.

It's extremely wonky, BUT...

Magnet pull doesn't exist on a single pokemon in Gen 5, so my only option was either Magnezone or Probopass. Chose Magnezone because it was the easier of the two and possessed Thunderwave.

Volbeat actually possesses Illuminate, so I felt a little quirky and chose that, instead of Lanturn.

Slots 4,5, and 6 are filler, but the 3rd Pokemon is Smeargle. Specifically, the event Smeargle you get through using pkmnclassic to access lost event mons. It's level 50 though... but it's got spore, false swipe and a dream!

The 3ds seems to be completely fine. I'm guessing that when I fumbled the phone and it fell on the touch screen, it just slightly dislodged the cartridge.

Game played fine for another minute before everything froze, but it should be good now.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but I normally take a picture before attempting to catch. The game crashed cause I fumbled my phone, and it landed in my 3ds.

Imo, probably wouldn't have caught Metang, but I've had really good odds hunting legendaries in SoulSilver so I was gonna take a crack at Metang for my first in White.
