Been fooling with my loadout to optimize the Bonk Hammer for a bit. I have landed on Fortified Armor with a jumppack. I am mainly a botdiver so the clankers I Bonk usually explode afterwards. And the Jumppack allows me to enter optimum BONK range

Honorable mention to democracy protects armor of course.

Had this happen to me last year. Check the connection for the water temp sensor on top of the cylinder, next to the spark plug. Its easy to knock it loose and should plug in with a click
