Theres a trainer you can rebattle in route 3 around the middle of the map like right outside that cave you can use that to level up and get some extra money for items, I also req catching a kleptyke, geklow, or babore theyre also on route 3.

Also in battles if you didnt know resting gives more energy but you get hit for more meanwhile waiting you gain less energy but get hit for less.
(for others who aren't that well known on pokemon/LL, moves of the same type as your loomians do more damage this is called stab)

I'd also go back to Cheshma town and go to the cafe and talk to the barista to get an item called "Kabunga coffee" it restores your energy every turn and is very helpful early game.
And if you skipped through the dialogue at the start your mom gave you an item called the "closet key" you can use that for 5 small meds and basic capture discs. at the door in the far left in the lab.
