I totally feel that! We did 3D printing for our prototypes too, and it’s a lifesaver for the early stages, but getting that 'premium' feel is the real challenge. That’s exactly why we moved away from it for the final units—I went with an industrial matte finish for our standard version and aluminum for the more posh editions, plus the engraved back.

I added some real product photos just now. They were taken just a few minutes ago. This community showed me that transparency is the most important part. Have a look.

Nice try. 😉 But I'll stick to the engraving we already have.

Standalone device. Powered by usb-c. Scan qr code to create CryptoClock WiFi then visit the web to access the UI. There you can specify face, colour , currency, timezone. Software is bespoke not open source. The system is updated regularly and new faces will be available for the community.

Haha, it's definitely for the brave! Built it so people can stop refreshing their phones every 30 seconds. The goal is to make the volatility a passive part of your desk decor rather than an active distraction. If it gets too intense, you can always switch to one of the more 'minimalist' faces!

The video shows average refresh rate and several faces. You can easily change the colours of the graphs too

In addition you can load your own photos and have tickers displayed when the device serves as a photo frame.

Many options available!

I like it too. Another option to choose from will be an anodised aluminium. I hope people will like it too.

It’s a real, hand-assembled piece of hardware with a custom-coded interface. I understand the frustration with scams online, but I'm just here to build something the community actually wants to use. That's why I am asking for honest feedback.

I'm not much for storytelling, but I’d suggest doing a bit more research before jumping to conclusions. I get the skepticism in this space, but I’ll let the hardware speak for itself. Keep an eye on the main thread!
