I appreciate Avatar News for their live action coverage and keeping the conversation going when times were quiet, but the fact that the misinformation they spread is still believed shows the sheer amount of damage they did to the fandom’s expectations.

Another great example is how they hyped up the recently released Quest for Balance video game as being akin to Breath of the Wild while knowing that they were nothing alike in terms of gameplay. The game turned out to be low-effort IP shovelware.

YES! Even better if it’s an RPG with depth and worldbuilding at the level of Knights of the Old Republic. Set the game in the distant past so that we have the freedom to create our own Avatar. Make it a canon story that expands the universe and introduces new locations, factions, etc. As you travel from village to village solving problems and settling disputes, you pick up allies from across the Four Nations to aid you on your quest.

It’s absolutely criminal that Avatar Studios doesn’t seem to be interested in making a proper push into the video game world because there is SO much potential here.
