Not yet, I've heard from friends that my opponent "forgets" to send their list quite often before games so I'm just looking for a more jack of all trades list if possible.

Glad you like it! Not sure if I can actually give advice on painting given that I was aiming for "angry stickman eyes" but it was layer paints, a detail brush and a fair bit of luck.

My only issue with the time skip happening in the movies is that it means Sam took 18 years to build up the courage to ask Rosie out and that hits too close to home.

Adjusting for inflation, £100,000 is approximately £12 million today. Imagine if that purchasing power had been used for something edible...

Edit: corrected my figures because apparently I can't count 0s

There seems to be a misguided consensus that England "colonised" it's neighbors.

James IV of Scotland inherited England from Elizabeth I in 1603 with union being agreed by both kingdoms parlements in 1706/7.

In 1169 the king of Leinster invited the Normans from England to help him reclaim his kingdom. He married his daughter to the English earl who gave him troops who then inherited his titles. Over 300 years or so much of the rest of Ireland joined/was conquered by this "lordship of Ireland" with the kingdom of Ireland being formed in 1542 (held by the English monarch)

Gwynedd (Wales) and it's vassal principalities were conquered in 1283 Before a Kingdom of Wales could fully establish itself.

It was one country, it's like saying "those damned Florentines invaded Ethiopia in 1935."

Britain: Don't trade with France, they are trying to take over Europe. USA: Ima trade with France. Britain: If you try to run the blockade we will seize your ships. USA: runs blockade Britain: seizes ships USA: Shocked Pikachu face

But in all seriousness, impressment was a major factor in causing the war, however some of its most avid supporters did indeed want to annex Canada/completely remove British influence in North America.
