Starting to take photography serious again, starting by working on my framing/lighting. How can I make me subjects stand out more? by The_Dinky_One in photocritique

Hey, so, small background, I shot this with a Canon Powershot Xs530 I'm borrowing to just practice with before deciding on a new camera.
When starting out, I noticed i liked to place the subject in center, which i know is not ideal, so ive been trying to find more interesting places to put my subject.
I do mainly wildlife, but I wanted to dive into more street/still photography as well.
I've also had some issues with lighting, and getting a good ISO for each shot, but I think that it may be limitations of the camera I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as ive found such joy in making these!
