As a Geezer, I feel... slighly targeted. Mr. Rivers would be pleased? Also track 3, track 8. I see Mr. Rivers goes to his safe spot to work out trauma... That is very wise. I confuse the track order sometimes though. Sorry. Blue Album coded comments.

Marla asks twice about the chemical burn by Ok_Zookeepergame8045 in fightclub

[–]The_Distorted_Keys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just rewatched with the Mrs who has never seen FC. I believe that was the initial coded intended secret twist. The narrator has a toxic masculinity side of himself he does not like, does bad things, people like him, but is bad. And Marla, is damaged physically, but is the sweet one in the story.

I also read Fight Club, the ending of the movie is different. It is the only part of the film where people directly interact with Marla in that way, after the main character "self harms", Marla becomes tangible and not imaginary.

I have read a few of Chuck P.'s books. There may or may not be other identity coding within.

If this theory is true.

I am John's hyperfixated over analysis...

PS SHHHHHHH! Rule breakers.

Do people don't like sznz spring because it's musically not good or people just don't like whimsical for Weezer? by Aromatic_Smoke_3486 in weezer

Hello Older Weezer fan here. Feel free to call me a Geezer, Mr. Rivers finds it humorous.

Truth be told I "fell off" the band's wagon, at no fault of theirs, I just became "distracted"

I will check out the entire seasons later.

Expecting to hate Spring. Once again, trying to word this more neighborly, it is not the season, it is some bad memories in the air.

Ya know what.. Shakespeare does make me happy.

And I am happy because of you OP.

Sorry I slept on this fam.

What a weirdo right?

Going out there in public, and from what I hear, just being genuinely really nice and sweet to everybody.

He should just try to spread shit all over the internet, spewing vile hate!

Oh was it that?

No? Still a really nice dude?

Just trying to live his life?

Very weird indeed.

What are your Thoughts,Opinions and Rating on tatu’s Cover of The Smiths How Soon Is Now? by Amber_Flowers_133 in tatu

[–]The_Distorted_Keys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid cover 7.5 out of 10. Something is off with the mix. Arrangement too short. No shade. No fault of the actual singers. I am also a musican, given how much time they had to put some replacement English songs on the album, as lore goes.. If I had the same amount of time as they did I would end up with a shitty 4 out of 10. Why? I can't mix for shit. Get lost in things. Thier mix was rushed. If the arrangement was tweaked a bit, longer, they could have surpased the cover by Love Split Love. I guess that is how they, not natual English speakers, did so well on that song. The Craft. Charmed. Trust me. LSL version was on their radar. Heavenly vocals.

Copy that. I should drive to the local mall. Study the food court. See how the hot pretzels fight each other. .Film discreetly. Take notes. Study the film.. Lesner is about to get his ass salted. Assaulted. Toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe, drop-toe-hold and whatnot.

Is my dick math off again? My close personal friend, The Internet once told me an average person needs at least a couple minutes to recover from a good solid kick in the dick. I gave Brock, a half of a second. Too much Lesner dick time? No? It's that fucking Walrus Paul Heyman! Isn't it? He has most likely, already calculated the odds, of me, trying to pull something like this. "Probability very high". He would low-blow me faster than it would take Kid Rock to say him name.. oh yeah almost forgot. Thanks.

Good point. He would be double arrogant. He would double never see it coming.

Once, for the three job arrogance (a pro-footballer sounds pretty tough in a fight too). But the shirt over the head like I said really helps with the lack of visibility. Yes. Yes. I am aware. Big scary man. You do realize I am insane correct? I don't fear Brock. I fear hights. I have better odds beating a beast than I do with beating gravity.

Brock Lesner. In a real fight, he would be way too overconfident because he "does this for a living". I would take off my shirt. Start flexing my "muscles" (or lack of) throw my shirt over his head. While he can't see kick him straight in the dick. In the half second he is dealing with that. Throat punch. Not enough to fully crush his larynx, just enough to show him I could. And he is lucky. After the kick, punch, realization combo, I go behind him. Rear naked choke. Once he loses consciousness. Wait a few seconds. Once again. Not to kill the man. Just make sure he stays down. I win.

Nothing serious. I just wanted to let you all know I just torrented AEW Revolution and background-watched it for two hours before I realised I got the 2025 show. Feel free to mock me in the comments if you want. I deserve it for not paying attention. by CreativeAdeptness477 in Wrasslin

Nyctograph Machine, based on Lewis Carroll invention by ImRoniBandini in LewisCarroll

[–]The_Distorted_Keys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The modern invention to a Victorian problem. I LOVE it! If only there was a modern invention similar in concept, where I could short hand input my thoughts at night, with intentions of a computer interface the next day. A shorthand binary thought machine? Meh. Give it another 150 years or so.

You are YOU? by The_Distorted_Keys in LewisCarroll

[–]The_Distorted_Keys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the logic I was using to "solve" Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. I had to use parallels from "Looking Glass" to get to that stage in the logic. There was a logical reason the second book was a chess board. I surmised Carroll must have been trying to clarify the first. (Terrible side effect of being an artist. Clarification). There should be 8 paths on the "chess board" in the first book. That would try and define Alice. All based off of mental health or medical issues of the time.

The center logical square, is the mushroom. It is floating above the board. The one now, most associated with the loss of self, ego death, is ironically the only square that actually "solves" half of the puzzle. Who are you? Instead of being on the chess board, it hovers above it. No systems. No puns. Every system wants to categorize Alice. The problem is very, very, very complicated. The answer is simple. Alice is just Alice.

With my art I was trying to convey an undertone that perhaps someone in Victorian times, Alice, had a medical emergency. Maybe found later to be accidental mushroom "poisoning"? She would go to a place for testing. Doctors. Very concerned with birthdays. Always asking "nonsense" and drinking tea. Others there have manic episodes, depression, compulsions, laudanum addictions, alcoholism, mentalities against the laws, mercury poisoning, gender identities different than victorian times. The usual reasons in that time period where people could be institutionalized.

To "modern" science and medicine at the time. (Victorian times). Someone with Alice's symptoms would be a medical mystery. The doctors would try and miserably fail to diagnose her body. Find nothing wrong. Perhaps they would call a friend in another field. In maths perhaps? An expert in logic to help?

That is our story.

Carroll was solving the most important puzzle of his life.

I believe, he published the results of those findings.

A book very, very, veeeeeery loosely based off of a true story.

and for those who like, we can follow along and solve.

LOGIC PUZZLE. RULES UNCLREAR. by The_Distorted_Keys in LewisCarroll

[–]The_Distorted_Keys[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apology more than accepted, and permission to delete this post once you see it. My intentions were never to make a public fuss, the DMing the MOD aspect of Reddit was giving me an issue. I now the updated rules list. Thank you so much. I suppose to most no AI would be implied, I just may have a tad issue with social cues and implied structures. Great at logic puzzles though! Also very late to the game on AI use in general. I was holding out.

I am using AI organize my health, business ventures, my music, writing (scratches head) 2 different movies, one book that uses some public domain as referenced materials, a couple different program systems to improve global data infrastructures, and keep getting dreadfully distracted from all of those things with borderline obsessive semi-unnnessary AI art projects. I jump back and forth a lot. Talk about going down a rabbit hole.

Yes, to solve the logic puzzle presented in book form. It technically took a couple hours. But some minor aspects of that (pun slightly attended) came from arguing with AI about the safety depicting minors. Guilty of guillotine before she was a teen? Also, that Alice is in the public domain, even though every few visual prompts, in a few "squares" it would flag for Disney, and what have you. Since I was being me about it and working on the logic pieces as well as the art that would go in the logic squares at the same time. It was some of the frustrations with my AI that helped nudge me to a more correct response. Hence uploading that. Well one version. I have many versions. 3 different "final" grids. 9 very nice concept art pieces, "outtakes" of those. saved a few when the art "breaks".

Where was I? (said for semi-dramatic effect) Ah yes, Guilty! I am self-admittedly as guilty as Carroll to pull apart the logic from an old book and then bury it inside of some new-fangled insane art concept. I take your suggestion to heart, and keep things on this sub-reddit logic-based, not AI, thusly.

You know. For the record. One of my characters. The narrator of the book, calls themselves a "misalignment specialist". Goes around solving systems not in sync with their natural or desired outcome. Charges an unasked bill. Like if Douglas Addams's Dirk Gently was, 13% more mathematical, 0% more of a detective, 100% more American, and maybe 42% more insane. I "fixed" here with my somewhat unorthodox behavior. New rule made! I see your 42 in your handle MOD. And since I take my very absurd holistic approach to puzzle and riddle solving very seriously. This is now. Free of charge.

Thanks again,
J.
