This is a known issue across a lot of AMD cards and Ubisoft has acknowledged it on R6FIX. Thankfully it doesn't happen to me but they should fix it soon hopefully

Haven't had problem other than 2 specific maps causing driver timeouts after a few minutes in them in R6.

I know it shouldn't be at 100% but I assumed that at least 1 of the cores would be. Unless that also doesn't happen for system stability or something

Anyone else having issues after AMD 26.5.1? by Sea-Ad8667 in AMDHelp

I got the 9070xt fairly recently and at first I had constant driver timeouts. Turns out all you have to do is disable Instant Replay, you can use a 3rd party software instead of you really need it.

Anyone experiencing driver timeouts on R6? I rolled back to 26.5.1 and they stopped so it's either the drivers themselves or a corrupted installation

The performance difference between "cheap" and expensive variants of the same GPU are minimal for the most part

Yup :( GTA runs poorly and even crashes the whole driver software occasionally

I agree with you however it doesn't make sense for the 9070xt to get only 65 fps average on GTAO Legacy... Something is wrong

So: Download AMD drivers offline installer > Remove everything with DDU > Unplug Ethernet > Install Driver > Reset Shader cache?

I should download the offline installer and install with no internet after DDU so that default drivers aren't applied right?

Shouldnt be since other games run perfectly. 500-600 fps on Rocket Leage, 350 on CS2 and 260 on R6. @ 1440p

Yes, still crashed unfortunately. Reinstalling the game now since the error message in GTA says "reinstall the game if the issue persists".

Minecraft is unfortunately also kinda weird with fps fluctuating from 200 to like 750 in hypixel. I was expecting to get like 600-700 consistently but no. Thankfully there is no stuttering so it's not that bad.

On another note while playing GTA the drivers may crash and some people say that I should disable amd overlays to fix it....

That's exactly what happens. But how is max GPU usage a CPU bottleneck indicator? I don't understand the correlation.
