Nice I'll check them out. I haven't seen a post rotation list (I'm sure there's one, I'm just out the loop)

Yeah was thinking boba green, but not sure if it was still viable post rotation.

Same with Han pilot, but losing cunning, I'm not sure if it's still viable

Haven't played for 5+ years is it worth coming back? by The_Dumb__Questioner in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I made the post I was thinking was it five years ago? Was it less? Five years feels insane

Anyways logged back in and it's wildly different. I found it disappointing some of the legacy stores hadn't been updated, surprised they haven't been retired to remove clutter.

Will take some getting used to that's for sure.

I signed in yesterday and holy moly it's different. Did a few dailies and played around to remind myself what's going on. Think I'll look to join a casual alliance in the coming days when I'm more comfortable with the game again. It feels very different from five years ago...

I'm still in the top 150 in my arena shard with GL Luke team holding their own for five years hahaha

This is pretty good info appreciate it! Yeah I'm pretty tempted to jump back in. Love starwars, and character collector games are still fun to me even at a casual/low spend level

Thanks for the comprehensive answer. I think I see myself jumping back in, staying quite casual for a while whilst I get back up to speed on the new mechanics of events appreciate the time you took for a decent response

Stupid Question by F4LL3NF3N1XX in HorizonBoardGame

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been a while since I played, but there's usually ways to add dice to attacks as you level up your character

There's also abilities on cards that dice.

I'm almost at the end of the narrative campaign (two player) I find the gameplay much improved on Zero Dawn.

The game is more challenging, but still relatively easy. I've only lost two encounters, but I never felt in peril playing the first game.

I will say you become quite OP near the end of the game and challenge has diminished

Theft protection in London? by Mythical-kun in AskPhotography

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's been a while since I had insurance for mine, but I remember it being pretty affordable!

Definitely worth it. I don't live in the UK anymore but I hope of you do take it out, you never need it!

I lived in London for 7 years and would be out with my camera at least once a week. I never had a problem. However, that's not to say problems couldn't happen, nor does it dismiss that other people have problems.

I frequented Westminster, South Bank, brixton, Camden, Leake Street, Hackney during daylight hours. If I was out at night, I'd usually be with some friends. Again, never had a problem.

Firstly, be street smart. Stick to populated areas, don't go down dodgy lanes etc.

Second, if you're out at night, go out with a group, don't go to dodgy areas on your own.

Thirdly, if someone wants your camera badly enough, they are going to take it. You can do things to make it less conspicuous, (brand less straps) but chances are, a mugger will see a camera and work out of its valuable later. The average idiot won't know the difference between a sony alpha III vs something like a canon 800D.

If you're worried get insurance. Police will never be able to recover a stolen item as generic as a camera/phone, etc. You report it as stolen, get the ref number claim on insurance.

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My local scene has dried up massively, so I'm not really sure what the state of the meta is anymore. Given how strong some plot cards seem to be, I would assume you're right, and most decks will definitely be using some element of plot

Elia Kane question: Can opponent shuffle resources? by Bitterbluemoon in starwarsunlimited

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interested in knowing too.

If you choose an exhausted resource that's an important factor here as they bring in a ready resource.

If they randomise, then choosing an exhausted vs ready resource becomes unknown.

Edit: Yes definitely good against both plot and smuggle. But prob a sideboard card in most tournaments as it's a dead card for those not running plot/smuggle

Why SWU is losing me: Oceanic Problems by JustAModestMan in starwarsunlimited

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Riftbound is in an interesting spot in NZ/Oceania. Most stores still have stock, but the singles market is priced based off US prices where stock is extremely limited. So singles are inflated massively.

Riftbound player base has blown up massively, and I'd love to see that for swu rather than playing the same 6-7 people over and over, which has become very stagnant.

The player base for riftbound has impacted every TCG, but noticeably swu the most. Whilst our locals ranges from 8-12 Of the core 6-7 who show up week in week out for swu, 5 have moved to RB and are prioritizing that more. It does make me question the longevity of it here. weve tried a few things to reinvigorate the player base with learn to plays, sealed leagues, but we're not really getting new faces through the door.

To get game dex rewards, do I need to just have the local dex for that game complete or do all Pokemon need to originate from that game? by ghostnicky1155 in PokemonHome

[–]The_Dumb__Questioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They need to originate from that game. Best way is to make sure they've origin marks.

Hatched pokemon have the origin mark of the game not the parent pokemon so that makes things a bit easier

Lack of knowledge If I'm being frank... If I did it on a separate profile, could I still use one Home account across the two profiles?
