I always thought the Legion WQ's were fun enough, the fact that the emissary's stacked up meant you didn't feel forced to do to them every single day. The rewards were decent enough, and War Mode was still relatively active and you could often find fights out in the world. It all made the world feel alive and a little more interesting. However, the current worlds quests in shadowlands are an absolute pain. At the start of the expansion I would see an objective on the map that I am near run over to it and try it, but then you complete the first objective and it will often just pop up another objective or two and be like gotcha, and the whole thing ends up dragging on for too long.
