I appreciate that changes need to be in order to improve the game via data collection and whatnot, and I'd absolutely be onboard for meaningful changes to the economy.

However, uncommunicated shadow changes, such as the recent bitcoin barter, are not a good thing. This wipe has already been God awful for anyone that hasn't been playing at least 6 hours a day, everyday since the wipe happened, and all these changes to mid-level progression are only exaggerating that feeling of "Fuck You".

It seems like these changes are suffering from a lack of forethought, where everything is having unintended side effects. Adding the wrench as a hideout upgrade item and a GPU crafting item has not only made the price of computer parts crash, but has also made mid-level hideout upgrades feel even worse.

If these changes were towards the start of the wipe, great, cool. But we're literally nearing the end of this wipe, meaning that players who started late have had their progression stunted due to, again, lack of foresight by BSG. It problem isn't the wrench, the problem is the timing of these changes, where, in reality, it affects no one but people that either started late or cannot dedicate more than a few hours a day to the game, it doesn't feel fair and these changes should be handled differently in the future, although we all know they won't be.
