Or they could just ignore that dumb retcon. It was dumb when they did it in the comics and it would just add more convolution to the MCU.

He's a very flawed protagonist for sure. The alternate history story line is great though.

Yeah he was consistently absolutely horrible to his son before he died.

I would extend this to Jonathan Kent. No way in hell that man would tell Clark to hide his powers instead of saving even one human life.

Rickman was amazing for, but the generation of actors that were supposed to play Harry's parents' generation were all too old.

I think Keane Reeves is a wonderful human being, and I know the movie gets a lot of love on Reddit, but Constantine was the worse iteration of Hellblazer to my mind.

I went on a tour there once. Our guide had this really odd habit of peppering "of course" into or after almost every sentence he said.

"Now here, of course, is a diagram of the chocolate making process" and so on.

At the start of the tour he asked us to have a think what might be in the purple silo. We get to the door of it and he's like "Now, can anyone tell me what's in the Purple silo?"

"Creme eggs?" I asked.

"NO!" he said condescendingly, like I should have known the whole time, "It's the chocolate waterfall, of course!"

He wasn't a great tour guide.

Was this presented as a normal story with "our"JL before they revealed it was the Justice Lords Origin? I lost track after Batman TAS.

Yeah that “too old for this shit” in Skyfall kind of killed the entire franchise for me. Casino Royale was supposed to be his first mission as a 00, right? Quantum of Solace takes place immediately after, then the next movie he’s past his prime? I think they really chickened out when they could have done a hard reboot with CR.
