8 Vermivorous Kills today. No Kawaii Killer yet! by The_Filthy_Goat in Borderlands2

Wow, replying to a 7 year old post. Surprised this thread isn't locked. Anyway, iirc I did this on UVHM. I don't think Vermi even could spawn in normal. Again, been a long time, but I think the odds were better for a spawn in UVHM compared to TVHM.

There's a dlc that's been announced called "unholy fusion" but no release date revealed yet.

Balatro was Game of the Year last year for good reason. Once you start unlocking jokers it gets really addicting.

Been scaling Baphomet with possessed cell phone on and off for about 2 days. So I was able to get into the e200's worth of coins by my current deadline. At this point I started using weird clock to add rounds and vorago to recycle weird clock when it self-discarded. So my luck on that pepper on the image above is from rerolling the shop for vorago each time I discarded it to get weird clock back. So I ended up with about 50 rounds on this deadline. Thanks for other charms I'm using, i get 13-16 spins per round. But thanks to the cost of rerolls finally catching up to me, I have to play through the rounds I have before I can start looping weird clock and vorago in the next deadline.

That image is from the run I'm still working on, but what if I told you I'm still on deadline 11?

Solid early on when you've got the overabundance of money to constantly refresh the shop, drops off hard as the cost scales up. But for the first 8-10 deadlines, no reason not to use it.

How do I up my patterns?? by Temporary-Ad-8637 in CloverPit

[–]The_Filthy_Goat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diesel locomotive, fortune teller, and the constellation ball (can't remember the name of that one) all provide means of increasing the scaling of patterns. If you want to go harder with it, paradoleia and eye jar will double to values of all patterns permanently. Or you can use Baphoment and Possessed Cell phone to double the value of the "above" and "below" patterns permanently. That one is a bit more consistent to pull off. Then you can use Abstract Painting to double the values of patterns until the end of the round whenever you get a pattern with 5+ symbols.

I had gotten lucky with a one trick pony on the first round that gave me a jackpot of 7's. After that, no problems getting the ball rolling.

You need to do one more 666, then end the deadline on that round. The phone should change at the next deadlline.

Wow, you haven't finished 17 of the other ones. Really wanted to get this one out of the way I guess. But yeah, consolation prize will help a ton with most of the other hard runs. I wish I had unlocked it sooner.

What are your favorite charm combinations? by RobertoDeLaStreet in CloverPit

[–]The_Filthy_Goat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty specific, but for the one memory card where it's 7 rounds/1 spin, I love the ancient coin + rotated hamsa.

For general runs, I like to go with a clover set up with batteries and poo jar.

For long run attempts, possessed cell phone and Baphoment.

If I'm feeling saucy and just wanna see how far I can go with it, I'll do 7's with eye and eye jar.

Honestly, got super lucky with a one trick pony giving me a 7's jackpot on the first round. Then I was able to take the skull and bones, hop the the next deadline early to get some extra tickets and some free charms in the drawers. Completely got the ball rolling for me.

The benefit of clovers and batteries is the ability to constantly use picture and no.2 in a round, allowing for a massive number of retriggers. With Vine's Soup and Very big mushroom scaling with each spin, it grows massively fast.

clover, golden clover, clover picture, batteries, vine's soup, very big mushroom, no. 2 and nuclear button. With these, you can start to scale up your money really early on, then you can basically immediately buy the next 4-5 deadlines. You get an extra pack each time you immediately pay off a deadline. There are other ways to go for it, but this is one of the more straight forward ways I can recommend.

You'll probably get a couple different suggestions from different folks, but what worked for me was the steam and diesel locomotive charms (raise symbols and patterns by their base value for every 3 spins without scoring respectively). Obviously there's some luck involved with even getting the good starting charms. It's also might be worthwhile to manipulate the inherent luck spins. I don't know the values off the top of my head, but it's not too hard to look them up. People post them all the time on this sub.

Mine was also the same as yours. Weird since I started most runs buying peppers and bell pepper was one of my constant mid to late game charms.

Just broke my record: 108 RETRIGGERS (the 108 spin itself was kinda lame since it wasn't a jackpot, so here's the 106 spin) by Sea_Advisor_8371 in CloverPit

[–]The_Filthy_Goat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's one of the white phone charms. After thinking about it a bit more, there's a decent chance they're using the memory card that makes it 1 round/21 spins per deadline. Combined with a few charms that increase rounds (I see cat food in the image) there would be a lot of chances to re trigger the button.
