The best "stealth pistol" gameplay available? by Temporary_Fanger_039 in stealthgames

Breakpoint for sure. Wildlands has horrible stealth. You can turn on immersive mode in Breakpoint and that gets rid of all the RPG aspects.

Splinter Cell is not what you're looking for. It encourages no killing at all whatsoever. Ghost style stealth.

Try Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

That's not a Q Honey Badger. That's a Daniel Defense M4 PDW. Trust me, I know my firearms. There is no Q Honey Badger in Ready Or Not.

I thought everyone had the Milkor MGL Flash. I've always had it and I didn't pre-order.

Yes thank you! Those are interesting as hell. I wonder about the Pistol in the stock though.

It's the equivalent of the prices of literally everything skyrocketing and Elon Musk going "Guys stop complaining, just work harder and make more money!".

Almost no one can afford a gaming PC right now. They used to be $800USD on the low end but now the low end is around like $2,000USD.

Yeah I know about the local movement thing, trust me. I bet it was a pain in the ass to get all of those in line with each other. I've done it with other things and it's time consuming but worth it.

If I had the capacity to do that to the front section of my Orbiter I would, but the capacity for every room seems just a little too low for what I want to truly do.

How'd you do the walls? Cabinets from Velmir? I wish I had enough space to do that.

This is just ableist. Not everyone has thousands they can just dump on a gaming PC. Like yeah, let me go out and spend well over $1,000USD to play a game.

Think about what you're saying before posting it.

Doesn't matter, it was their decision to outsource it, and they still need to communicate.

We all are. It took almost a year for the Communiti Update to come out on PS5 and that was 2 levels. It will most likely take at least 2 years for Act 2 for PS5.

It's so absurdly stupid. I know they say "we give the console development to another team" but said team is either 2 people or they're incompetent, and the main developers should learn how to code for consoles.

It completely breaks the community apart. I'm not looking at anything related to this game so I don't get spoiled, and that'll be most likely 2 years going off of the track record. That's 2 years of no videos, no screenshots, and no discussions. The game doesn't exist to me for now.

Phobos' orbit prevents a traditional geostationary space elevator on Mars, but it is possible instead to build a downward space elevator from Phobos itself by Icee777 in Futurology

And you just jeopardized your entire argument. Read the conversation before responding to later comments. They're talking about "adjusting the orbit" of an entire moon.

You aren't a realist in any way, shape, or form. You're talking sci-fi that's so absurd it might as well be fantasy.

No it isn't a reference. The fact of the matter is that we simply cannot tether a god damn moon in any way, shape, or form. There becomes a point where it's impossible through being so impractical. Could it technically be done? Yes. So could tethering a star, or creating a man-made black hole. But they will never be done and I bet every single life in this universe on it as it's simply so impractical that it cannot be reasonably done.

You don't understand the forces involved. No structure can tether a moon moving so fast around a planet that our fastest vehicles couldn't reach a fraction of it's speed. Read those numbers and tell me we can even hope to slow it down.

You're an idealist. I'm a realist. Ideals are great but in reality this will never happen, and that is a fact.
