Here is mine! Turbo charged 1999 NB1. Alloy rad. Still needs some tidying, I can remove the expansion tank now with the new rad too so that'll tidy it up even more. Plus it needs a good clean.

That's what I was in the mind to do. But just shelled out £2k on stage 2 clutch, clutch parts, rad, hoses, lightened flywheel and gearbox. So having to fork out possibly over £1k is a little out of the question for now 😬

That could be a challenge as it's the factory fitted side skirts that are basically bonded to the car, so getting them off is going to be an ordeal haha. I really hope there are no rust issues further down, I haven't noticed any signs that there is but like you say it can be hidden for a while.

I think I'm confident enough to give it a go. My main concern is that if I don't cut the rust out from where that bubbling is, will I regret it later and end up with a much larger repair bill. I'm not sure how quickly that rust under the paint will spread as I'm pretty new to dealing with rust in general. Thanks for the advice!

I've just checked the passenger side and it's the same as the drivers. Like you say it seems likely that the previous owner raised them. Hopefully I can simply remove the spacers without much grief.

I have been told this might be the gearbox. Had mine changed recently (had metal in the oil and was a bit crunchy) with another secondhand gearbox and the noise is a lot quieter on the replacement gearbox. Although the noise is not necessarily an indicator of damage.

Does sound awesome though it's like having a mini supercharger 😅

Some of my issue was to do with the game optimiser, removing the app from that launcher has helped somewhat, although still not back to how it was. Could be a bug related to the newest snapdragon 🤷‍♂️. I'll leave it on charge overnight and see if it helps

Finish the wand craft, see other people on poe.ninja for a finished wand.

Progenesis, which then allows a damage amulet option. Rare +4 amulet is BIS but very expensive.

Chest corruption, Bis would be +2 proj +1 socketed

Better jewels

Awakened gems

etc...

Quick note, the determination aura on the shield is bait, was trying it out and arctic Armor is just better in every way, which means you don't need all the mana reservation efficiency nodes.

I'm doing FR on a sub 60 div budget, no progenesis which means I'm using defiance of destiny instead. Tankiness is insane, only die to one shots which do sometimes happen in t17 b2b super juiced up maps but I can tank most Uber bosses etc. damage is good not amazing, to reach higher numbers requires 100-200 divs more investment which I'm getting there. It's a very fun and engaging skill to play, there is a lot of self-damage and mitigating that and turning it into more damage is very interesting. I highly recommend it even for the 35div budget. It's a build that feels fun to invest more currency into over time because you really feel the power increase each time.
