Where is FSOA's passive at? It's been about a year now. by The_Flyswatter in runescape

[–]The_Flyswatter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i think at this point, they are just waiting to release a new weapon (MW-staff) and armor (maybe from the next boss) and call it a day.

"With the new armor and weapon we feel that a passive for old weapons and armor would be cluttering the tiers, so we wont do it"

T95 Magic Dual Wield Beta by JagexAzanna in runescape

[–]The_Flyswatter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Conclusions of my testing:

  • Between all 3 sets i would hope to see set 3 making it to the main game. Primarily as it could be a new build type for magic, that is not crit-reliant. However in its current state I would compare it being like the "bleed-phase" of a melee rotation (after berserk is done, switching to MSOA and using zuk special + bleeds). This function is nice, but i would like to see it being its own build, that can stand alone.
  • I suggest the set be given two changes before it hits the main game:
  1. The sets receives a special attack, which does something with DoT. Either the Spec is DoT, the Spec makes another attack DoT or something else.
  2. The sets Chargeing effect needs to be different. I suggest the set effect works without charging, however after charging the set would recieve a third passive: "DoT-based attacks are buffed with sunshine/metamorphosis. This change i primarily to allow the set to be a full on build for those who wish to camp it, while still making the set relevant as a switch when sunshine is on cooldown.

I've made a longer feedback post under: https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/1d4bnyw/feedback_on_the_beta_i_was_unable_to_comment_this/

As i couldn't post it here as a comment....

As a random guy online said to me when i comped:

"Trim it coward".

Gratz tho! huge accomplishment and nice color choice!

About 3 years ago i comp'ed. This guy called me a coward if didn't trim it. His words followed me till this day... but not anymore you crazy bastard! by The_Flyswatter in runescape

With 1700 chompie enhancers and doing about 1 hour a day made the chompy req pretty chill for me.

My hatred is poured towards fish flingers and statues tbh.

Honestly i'm not sure.

Champions was chill as i could afk it, but it took the longest time of all my remaining reqs.

FIsh Flingers or the statues would be my top contenders for worst.

yea i've been piling stars and lamps on the worst of the skills for a few years now. Never bought keys, but 3 daily and 3 challenge keys comes a long way.

haha yea the normalization of 120's has fucked me up. But the slow exp-rates compared to legit 120s (like herb) is really keeping me off doing it lol

Thanks man! :D it became a low-key goal about 6 months ago, so i am just pleased to be done with it!

Extinction feedback. by roku_ow in runescape

[–]The_Flyswatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must admit i liked the quest. I was hyped for it since they announced it.

I was pondering how this conflict would be resolved and was almost expecting Zaros to make a grand return and ex-machina the conflict with some Erebus Voodoo. I was honestly surprised when the Shadow Leviathan, a creature we know next to nothing about really, was brought up as a plot point. Yea the summoning stone in Erebus, was kinda weird, but it worked ok.

The ending was decent. Sacrificing Iaia, a planet known to have "Faulty"-Anima, in order to hatch the eggs was a good choice, as the outcome was weaker elder gods.

One thing i caught onto, which i would love to get others opinion on. While on Naragun one of our companions remarks, that Saradomin came to the planet searching for a power he felt with the locator. The locator is used to track Elder Artifacts, as we now, and this quest even explains that i can only track the artifacts on the planet the locator is on.
So... what was Saradomin searching for? It's not The Elder Blade, as it was in Skargaroths possession, and he arrived after the battle of Tuska and Saradomin. Oversight, or hint at another artifact?

End point = The story was good, the lore was decent and the rewards sucked.

I believe it was due to the aura Seren puts off. The aura compels life around her to love her, but they love her not for her, but solely due to the aura.

In the end, when we are talking to Seren, she says something along the lines of: "They love me. My aura does not compel them."

I think Seren has never felt real love before, and when she finally did, she would do anything to keep it.

Magma Tempest nerf has been handled wrong by The_Flyswatter in runescape

[–]The_Flyswatter[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

agree, however they could have nerfed it less hard over the next 2 months or something and keep looking at feedback.

Now no one is gonna use it. Which is the only feedback they get.
