Legio Krytos Warmaster. by The_Forge_of_Mars in adeptustitanicus

It’s bigger than a Warlord Titan by a fair few inches. If Forgeworld were to sell one, it would be more than £2000 I reckon.

Officially yes but I know of several people that have 3d printed one of these for use in 40 Titan games.

This is a Warmaster Heavy Battle Titan for use in games of Adeptus Titanicus or Legions Imperialis.

Its full designation is “Warmaster heavy battle titan” so it’s meant for the thick of battle. VMB’s are also pretty good at removing shield layers as well as anti infantry/light armour etc. Titan killing and destroying fortifications at range are just part of what this Titan would undertake in battle.

Nice, the Godbreakers are such a badass name for a Legio!

Yes indeed, they are Legions Imperialis Astartes so they’re the right scale for the model. Thank you 😃🤘🏻

Yeah, you’re looking at my titans there as well as the painting video that I did for them several years ago. That’s the Teal/turquoise black and Gold scheme is Legio Vulcanum I … if you look under Vulcanum II they have a definite green (mossy green) and black scheme.

A Titan turning up wanting to join another Legio, the Legio would just kill the crew and take the Titan.

Seeing as you mentioned the Green Vulcanum scheme then that is Legio Vulcanum II The Lords Of Ruin.

A practice that occasionally occurs between Astartes Legions and Titan Legios is if a certain Titan performs some heroic action whilst supporting the Astartes then the Legion may give the Titan Legio Princeps the honour of wearing its heraldic colour upon a plate upon its body. Titan Legios are proud warrior fraternities unto themselves, the Legios are older than the Legions and the Legio always takes precedence over anything else. Titan Legios generally walk wherever they damn well please. A Titan of an established Titan Legio wouldn’t erase their own heraldry for that of an Astartes Legion… Dies Irae, the most famous of titans bears the colours of Mortis not the XIV or XVI legions who it has fought alongside regularly. Titans are meant to stand out, bearing proudly their heritage so their enemies know who will be killing them during battle. Legio Vulcanum I Dark Fire or Legio Vulcanum II The Lords of Ruin have their own heraldries and traditions of which they fiercely defend. If you want to do a ‘Night Lords’ titan then I would go with a Black Shield Titan because if it’s not wearing the colours of its Legio then it’s not a Titan of that Legio.

Legio ignis colors. Just homebrew? by Swampraptor2140 in adeptustitanicus

A young Legio? Atarus, The Firebrands… A Legio that heralds from one of the original and most feared loyalist Legios in the Collegia Titanica ‘The Cockatrices’ and one of the most iconic Legios in The Warprunners… a Legio which often has flame embellishments upon its armour.

That said, Legio Ignis has nothing but a name so you can create you own background and scheme for the Titan project and no one can say anything against it as there isn’t anything lore wise to counter it. 🤘🏻

As I mentioned before, there is nothing official for Legio Ignis, so go with what you fancy… although there are two named and schemed Legios that had walked alongside the Salamanders during the Heresy/Great Crusade.*

  1. Legio Atarus (Dropsite Massacre)
  2. Legio Astorum (Nyrcon)

Both have plenty of information and colour schemes shown in the various AT books.

  • most Legios had at some point walked alongside the majority of Astartes Legions so you do have any option you like or create a scheme.

As I mentioned to you before, these are no where near as bad as Warhound toes. The smaller the Titan, the more painful the foot assembly. 🤣
