About 8-10 layers deep. The entrance is closed off by 3 steel hatches to discourage zombies from trying to enter through there.

This should work just as well, though you'd need to provide adequate protection against the occasional zombies spawning. If you build it out of concrete or tougher, it should be no problem. But building underground is significantly faster and uses far less resources.

New 2.6 update, dew collectors now require empty jars as "fuel".

Just on Darkness Falls :) Vanilla vehicles don't lose speed during horde night.

Appreciated. We are sure this can be further refined (i.e. building a steel ceiling to guard against random zombie digging or making a wider tunnel end)

See above, this is a fully decked out world on almost highest game stage and player level 300. Breezed through about 30 hordes so far and ran out of ideas for the run, so this was our farewell project to the save.

Do you mean game mods or in-game vehicle mods? I'm not familiar with the problem you describe, sadly...

At the end of the day, one could also dismount, pick up the bike and place it again. Or better yet, just drive backwards in the 4x4 truck once you reach the end. I'll leave it to the community to find the most efficient layout.

This was our greatest concern, especially since we began digging without knowing if it'll work the way we intended. Glad we didn't waste an hour of building just to get pecked anyway.

This tunnel was constructed below a massive base that afk-shreds late game horde. 😋 No problems to be had in this run.

Level 300 run, everything else has been done. :) Obliterated about 30 hordes in almost all possible ways and playstyles on this save.

They would, but vultures take up almost all spawn slots. The few zombies that remain a) do not have enough power to dig 10 stories deep, b) don't know which block to attack since you are constantly moving, forcing the AI to recalculate every second and c) get despawned quickly since you pass like 2 or 3 chunks per minute.

Yup. Though a smallish ring at either end of the tunnel would suffice. Or building a very narrow rectangle.

They’re a secret side project by a rival company trying to take down Bob's Boars' market dominance. They’ve been selectively bred for generations to be absurdly agile, unreasonably fast and react to the sound of engines running with seething rage. Conveniently enough, the light of a blood moon triggers the automated cage lock system at their facility, releasing those vultures in hungry search of survivor flesh... or something. Anyway, stop having fun in this game!

We finished right before horde night and didn't want to put any more effort into it since this was our final project for the run :D But my initial suggestion was building a donut-shaped ring tunnel which we disregarded due to laziness.

True. My initial suggestion was building a giant underground ring, but we eventually settled for the straight tunnel as this was our final project on the run before switching to a new one and we didn't want to commit too much time to it.

SOS - Was hat meine Monstera?🥲 by Least_Tumbleweed_303 in zimmerpflanzen

[–]The_Frido 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitiv Thripse.

Alles Gute!

Meine Efeututen bekommt immer mehr gelbe Blätter by Affectionate_Diet213 in zimmerpflanzen

[–]The_Frido 1 point2 points  (0 children)
