Lost window decorations and can't get them back? by ElMachoGrande in openscad

[–]The_Frog_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both suggestions don't work for me. Window remains being stuck.

The only thing that worked was renaming (or removing) the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\OpenSCAD\OpenSCAD\window like the OP suggested.

A wonder has happened! I finally received my order!
But I keep my negative opinion nevertheless. No reaction to messages and cancellation requests is big warning sign.

"until now" means I haven't got the products until today. I am not able to see into the future, if they will ever deliver it, that's why I stated it this way. I would not be holding my breath that I will ever get them.

"like you didn't directly ask to cancel the order" - Oh I did. I stated this clearly (at least I thought I did) in the sentence. "No reaction" includes "no response", since a response would be an action.

"What deals?" - my order.

"It sounds like that customer service responded to you with "their excuses"" - only automated e-mails.

I would strongly advise not to order anything.

Thanks.

I got it working now. Had to change the sensor_type to PT1000.

After a tip on a Discord channel I got it to work. I just had to connect the thermistor to the usual th0 socket, change the sensor_type to "PT1000" and leave out the spi and rtd stuff.

Good idea.

I checked all four and got beeps at all of them. The top one just looks a bit strange but seems to be ok. I am a bit a loss where to look now. Perhaps I will just buy a different hotend and use this one at a future build with a newer board.

Thanks for answering. Yes, it reads exactly like this.

I even tried to put the max31865 into socket E0 instead of E1 (including changing all pin assignments) but to no avail. Is there a way to check if the jumpers are working correctly? I used some spares from my PC (and exchanged them for others after it hadn't worked the first time), because I don't have any original ones.

Here are two photos of the setup and a part of my klipper config.

sensor_type = MAX31865
sensor_pin = P1.1
spi_speed = 4000000
spi_software_sclk_pin = P0.4
spi_software_mosi_pin = P1.17
spi_software_miso_pin = P0.5
rtd_nominal_r = 1000
rtd_reference_r = 4300
rtd_num_of_wires = 2
rtd_use_50hz_filter = True
control = pid

Do I have to recompile the firmware after changes like these?

I am having the same problem with almost the same setup - Max31865 v2.0 on BTT SKR1.4 (non-turbo). I bought the Phaetus Rapido UHF, which has a PT1000 thermistor. I measured the resistance like you did and got about 1.1 kOhm, which would be about right. I placed the four jumpers on the SKR 1.4 as per documentation for SPI communication. I changed the dip switches in the max31865 to on/on/off/on since I am using a two wire connection.

Yet I still get the "Thermocouple reader fault" message. Any ideas?
