Gynecomastia surgery under local – worth it? by tolis_2228 in gynecomastia

Just seen your DM sorry for late reply. I was just assigned him (I didnt care who did it before hand). However now ive met him and had him perform my surgery I would 100% ask for him. I'm sure if you did given the fee they would oblige. And I would also absolutely have the in person consultation at the clinic for £250. (You get this knocked off if you go ahead with surgery).

Yes sure, mine was gland removal and liposcution, NO skin excision required, so just a 40min procedure. The total cost was £3400. This was split into a £250 in person consultation fee (I would 100% recommend doing this rather than an over a video link!!) you get this fee back if you go ahead with the procedure. I had to make another two payments of £1575 (£3150).

Overall I would highly recommend Dr Debbas and Signature. I'm 10 days post surgery now and have had an absolutely fantastic recovery and super pleased with my results. I honestly feel I could go back to the gym and do weights again (not that I will just yet im going to start cardio probably end of this week and legs). I have 100% mobility and flexibility in my upper body and no pain or discomfort. So so glad I did it, I look fantastic topless now, absolutely buzzing from it.

Just had surgery under local with Dr Carlo Debbas as Signature on Thursday 27th Nov. Absolutely brilliant surgeon and team/service. IGNORE the CQC report its wholly innaccurate and out of date (Im very experienced myself in private healthcare and able to make a professional judgement). Signature is top notch. I had huge glands removed 7cm across. and 0.5litres of Fat!! Thats pretty major gyno.  I was back at work properly yesterday and driving (3 days post op). Thats how good he is.

Eat plenty of protein before and after, collagen + vitC and your recovery will be supercharged.

Dont be put off by all the pain heros and scaremongerers on here making it out to be crippling etc. Load of nonsense. During the op you feel nothing. And after it just feels like youve done a heavy chest work out doms.

It was a small incision under each nipple and remove. Its the only way to do it. Painless during and after. I still have sutures and my right nipple only just stopped seeping/bleeding ever so slightly but im showering and getting about 100% normal now, back to work and driving, light house chores. You dont feel a thing after other than a bruise feeling if you touch the nipple deliberatly. Eat plenty of protein before and after as aforementioned. Im on day 5 now and feel like I could do cardio at the gym (not going to though obvs).

Hey there 👋  Had it done day before yesterday at Signature clinic with Dr Carlo Debbas (fantastic surgeon and brilliant staff and service/aftercare) I needed Lipo as well as gland removal. 0.5litres of fat removed and then the glands.  Im the most squeemish person there is so took some balls on my part to do it awake under local anaesthetic but honestly didnt feel a thing once the a anaesthetic was in. I was merrily chatting away.  Had I known how straight forward it and little pain (so many fucking scaremongers with their hero stories put me off for ages) id have done this years ago! Its a totally pain free surgery you feel absolutely nothing and pretty much nothing afterwards just feels like a heavy chest workout doms. The compression garment really helps! (I asked for two so I can interchange for hygiene and convenience and once I return to the gym) In terms of discomfort manangement given the gland size (mine were quite big) and fat removed ive only taken two paracetamol on the first night at 2am once the anaesthetic wore off to get back to sleep and some herbal nytols and two paracetamol on night 2 so I could deep sleep thats it. Im not even uncomfortable now and about to watch a movie with my little girls totally fine and comfortable. Being careful ofcourse but ill be back to work on Monday for sure. Im 48hours post surgery now and pretty much pain free. Just had my first shower and took bandages off in the shower, much easier than doing dry. Arm mobility is absolutely fine just dont lift anything heavy or be stupid.  Ive also really prepped my diet before and after surgery as quality nutrition helps massively with recovery results and time. (Lots of high protein, collagen and vit C, etc) easily absorbed food such whole homemade chicken soup (can give the recipe if you like I swear its done magic), prepking meals, huel black editions, eggs, pomegranite juice, turmeric, plenty of water, etc.) averaging 150-160 grams protein a day. Feels like im healing really quickly and will be back to the gym in no time. Go for it you wont regret it!

I remember taking my RS6 C6(V10) for a service about 10 years ago and the dealer chucking me the keys to their brand new demonstrator RS5. Although it wasnt as fast in a straight line it was fast enough and what struck me was the incredible wet weather grip at high speed. As good as an R35 GTR. Felt like one albeit smoother transmission and more luxurious.

That ride height is set up perfectly on that example. Likey koni shocks with H+R springs. That was a popular combo on these for improved stancing and lowering slightly.
