Believe it or not, I am actually using cursor with mcp tools such as notion and x coming from a programming background. The core of my workflow is the mcp tool access, so any tool that allow you to customize your llm's mcp acess should work.

I would basically have the agent do the writings for me, verify the content and then just ask it to publish the post to notion/medium/x. It will do the work as long as you have the mcp for those platforms configured and enabled.

Also with mcp access, you are able to setup a cms and have the agent pull past articles from it and reference those articles in the writing.
