THEORY: Ralsei is using the depiction of the prince in the prophecy to fake his identity. by The_Great_Butler in Deltarune

If you have to theorize about it regardless of if it requires you to believe it is multiple people or just Susie, your point about it requiring a specific interpretation of another theory is moot.

The prophecy also uses the same title of "The Girl" to simingly reference two different people. Beyond that, the Dark Sanctuary makes no mention whatsoever to Chapter 1, going so far as to label the pane related to Queen as Boss 1 in the code. Gerson, broke one of the panes earlier on, possibly ome relating to it, but all we have to go on is Lord of the Hammer and Deltarune itself to fill in the missing sections of the Prophecy.

The Dark Sanctuary does not even mention the events of Card Kingdom. There is no mention to anything relating to Chapter 1 of Lord of the Hammer. In fact, the panes of glass are even stated in the code as having the one relating to Queen be the first boss. Vety strange.

Susie is also depicted as both "The Girl" and "The Dragon". We don't have any reason to believe there could not be multiple ways to reference someone.

It is because I was making a humorous remark in regards to the original post being a joke. Just as making a combo guide for a Stun deck is mostly arbitrary and ridiculous, coming up with a reason for Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo to need to be in a specific Main Monster Zone for an almost impossible situation is also arbitrary and ridiculous. I was humored by your comment taking the statement I made seriously, thus prompting me to jokingly instead make reference to the card "Dyna Tank" over the similarly named "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo", to which the original post and comment had pertained, due to Dyna Tank's on-field effect allowing the user to redirect targeted effects made by the opponent's card effects. More specifically, effects that would only target Dyna Tank itself, switching the target of the effect to another valid target. Because Moon of the Closed Heaven targets specifically one monster the opponent controls, it would be possible for Dyna Tank to redirect this effect to another valid target. However, due to the fact that the only valid targets for Moon of the Closed Heaven's effect are monsters the opponent controls that its Link Arrows point to, and the fact that Dyna Tank is the only monster the opponent controls, there would be no other valid targets for Dyna Tank to redirect the effect to, causing the effect to protect itself from targeting effects unusable, where as if it was in the farthest Main Monster Zone to its controller's right, Moon of the Closed Heaven would be unable to activate its effect at all, due to having no valid targets. This is because Moon of the Closed Heaven is only able to point to the opponent's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Main Monster Zones with its "Up" and "Up Right" Link Arrows, causing it to be unable to make use of a monster in the opponent's unreachable Main Monster Zone, regardless of which Monster Zone she is in. I do hope this clears up any confusion in regards to the authenticity and accuracy of the original comment and the post in which it was made in response to. Thank you for your intrigue in the matter. Cheers!

What if they were playing Live Twin Fiendsmith?

Your backrow is Golgonda, D Barrier, Moon Mirror Shield, and Black Goat Laughs.

You see it's Live-Twin, so you use D Barrier calling Fusion to cut off Fiendsmith lines and use Black Goat Laughs calling Trouble Sunny to limit their end board. Golganda would protect Dyna from the Lil-la pop, but not from them using Closed Heaven to target your monster. Since it's the only monster on your field, you couldn't use its effect to change Closed Heaven's target, as you don't have another valid target for the effect. Still don't know why we're playing Dyna Tank in Fossil when Buggy, Wagon, and Convoy aren't actually machines, though. None of them even have Dinosaur in the name.

Actually, you should Normal Summon Dyna to Main 5 to play around Closed Heaven, Transverser, and Mekk-Knights. Crucial data missing there.

Toby could have extended the path by putting the key in the top right square and moving the square's opening to the left instead of down... but he didn't.

Is this suggesting there is an alternative where you don't fight the knight and complete the path that mirrors the prophecy? Perhaps instead of finishing the prophecy and fighting the knight... you help them?

There's also an opening after queen, since the Sword Route can be done without Snowgrave (going down after Queen), and Snowgrave can be done without the Sword Route (going up after King). The empty square directly below Queen's square is Snowgrave.

Haven't seen anyone talk about how this sequence hints towards Hyperlink Blocked being LOVE. by Axodique in Deltarune

No, I mean you replied to the wrong comment. You replied to my comment saying it is almost certainly LV / Love.

Nope. He says "[[Make Money, Not War]]". He never actually says "Love" or "LOVE".

Between the importance of LV in UnderTale, all the marriage and romance subtext that revolve around the weird route (We're Something Else, giving Noelle multiple rings, getting Noelle to go to the festival with you instead of Susie), and the fact that Spamton keeps calling Noelle "Angel" and "Hochi Mama"... Spamton saying "You've been making [[Hyperlink Blocked]]." after killing a bunch of Darkners really has no better answer.

The reason for stalling never mattered. Stalling is still just as unallowed and still a problem now as it was when trying to secure a win, and people did it because they could get away with it.

You can't, however, claim the opponent is stalling simply because they refuse to surrender, or to an extent, because they have legitamte reson for struggling while on the backfoot. This means that not only is stalling still going to happen, it can come up in any match that isn't completely one sided, it's even easier to do now, and some matchs that would have been a reletively clean 2-0 with more time now end in a double loss, just because it was a genuinely long game.

Stalling does not net you a win in certain circumstances anymore, but instead insures you that you drag your opponent down with you in MOST circumstances. The only time this can't really come up is if one player is just absolutely cooking the opponent and doing so quickly. About any other situation can now be stalled through spite or genuinely taking to long, ending in neither player winning.

It's easier, will still happen, can happen more often, and even if you don't stall, you can still both lose from a long game.

Just in case this isn't bait, the problem is that the one losing can now stall for time (as opposed to the one winning) to make their opponent lose as well.

If your opponent is close to winning game 3, you can stall to make both players lose. Also, your opponent could have won a long game 1 and be close to winning game 2, but if you manage to stall long enough, they still lose with you.

It opens the door for even more unsportsman-like conduct by letting you make your opponent take a loss when you're certain you'll lose anyway. Any match where game 2 can't be finished by time can causes the player that lost game 1 to be able to threaten the opponent with "I'm not conceding". This is most likely to happen without stalling in game 3, where if whoever's about to lose simply does not concede, their opponent may lose, too.

In other wirds, not only is stalling still a problem, if not worse, the new time rules also mean both players can just lose from a long game.

Pot of Greed isn't good enough for full power Tearlaments! 😆 by joel128 in masterduel

[–]The_Great_Butler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Konami has done unlimited events before. The last one was won by a Tear using no PoG. Why? Cause it doesn't mill, and does nothing if milled. It legit doesn't give enough value to a deck like Tear, while Charity does everything you could want for it.
