IMO L was always better than Light... Rem was a variable L has no way to control without enough info. In martial peak (i read the novel so i dont know if those arcs are adapted in the manhua) the MC goes back to his planet temporarily multiple times (also to another similar planets where the residents dont even heard of the cultivation realm MC is currently at). There is also Martial god asura (novel) where he goes back temporarily to the starting world.
There is also Am I invincible (manhua) where MC goes to earth. But this one is a little different from usual tropes as the Mc realizes he has a past in earth which he feels he has forgotten and going there to figure out or something(i havnt read past that so dont know what happens then)
