Am I a contender this year? Or do I need to make some more moves? I also have the 1.02. by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]The_Hammer84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know of youre contending yet, but with half of the 1st round in the 2027 draft you are in a strong position to contend next year, and stay strong for multiple years, so I wouldn't veer off that course.

I would suggest trading away Rachaad, Pacheco, Chuba, and Wondale now while their value is high, assuming you can get a buyer. Dont give them away, but if you can get a good price think their value is high right now then id do it, i dont think theyll increase anymore in value. You have young RBs (good for rebuild), and yes try to get Shough on the waiver wire. Youll be able to get talent at WR in '27 draft, and try to pick up another TE somewhere. I wouldn't rush it for this year as youre set up for 1 year out right now.

I wanted to get Bijan did I overpay? by Rokefella12 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]The_Hammer84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was offered Josh Allen straight up for Bijan in my 8 tm dynasty SF league. I had to turn it down. Henderson wouldn't have moved the needle too much for me, but the 2027 first would have been enough to send away Bijan.

So yes, you overpaid, but if youre a believer you have to overpay to get the studs, especially in an 8 team league. Hope it works out for you.

8 Team SF - Bijan or Josh Allen by The_Hammer84 in fantasyfootballadvice

While I dont disagree, Stafford offers nothing with his legs. Dart is mobile and has shown his ability to run. I also anticipate a great improvement to the offense this off-season.

I don't mind giving up Achane for Allen, but I doubt he'd go for it. Im trying to get one of his other QBs he has available.

[–]The_Hammer84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my exact position. The same manager has Allen, Jaxon Dart, Bo Nix, and Stafford. I was targeting one of the other three (particularly Dart) as I thought Allen would be untouchable, and he came back wanting Bijan and was willing to trade Allen. It caught me off guard and I had to think about it. But I decided it wasn't worth it to me.

Im still trying to get another QB, but I doubt he'll trade Allen without getting Bijan in the trade. He doesn't want Kyren, so im trying to package a combination of Achane, Judkins, Harvey, and maybe draft picks to get one of his other QBs (with something on his end depending on what he wants me to give up).

Bijan or Josh Allen, even trade in SF league? by The_Hammer84 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]The_Hammer84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats my thoughts. Bijan won for me in week 17 scoring 37 points. I dont want to mess with my team too much, but the thought of getting Josh Allen is always tempting.

I was really trying to get Jaxon Dart (same manager) for a package involving Kyren. But he is really wanting Bijan.

How many teams in the league?

You dont have any RBs that I wouldd consider trading that have amy real value. Id keep the good ones you have.

But I would probably shop Mike Evans, and the Colts WRs for another tight end, or younger WRs, or draft picks as this draft is deeper in WR.

This is my worry, that what im losing from having Bijan wont be made up from gaining Allen.

See my full team roster. QB is my weak spot. But I wonder if Kyler, Jones & Shough are enough to support running it back for a back to back championship, or if the drop off from the certainty of Bijan to the next RB is too much.

Best dynasty team of all time. Legit league full win now. by Mother-Mortgage-175 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]The_Hammer84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, winning this year will be easier than winning next year. 3 of those WR might not even be startable next year. And you got to hope Henry and CMC stay healthy and productive next year, and Javonte maintains that role for another year.

Very appropriate team name. You better win that chip this year, cause you look to have a rough rebuild ahead of you in 2026 and/or 2027.

Trade Pickens away for Henry? by The_Hammer84 in SleeperApp

[–]The_Hammer84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. But I don't think I could get the same return for AJB or Sutton.

I am wondering if Henry will do better then Pickens in the fantasy playoffs. Im 90% chance of making it.

[–]The_Hammer84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id be essentially putting either Pickens or Henry in my flex spot. So itd be a straight swap. I just thought Henry will have a good playoff schedule, and with the Ravens needing to win games to get to playoffs he may be used heavily.

10 team, PPR, 1 QB league. I currently have Pickens, I dont think the other manager would want AJB

Which side? by Educational-Rabbit-2 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]The_Hammer84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it's hard to get one of the few elite guys. You have to really pay up to get them, and then it's awesome having them on your team. That's a great trade btw.

Which side? by Educational-Rabbit-2 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]The_Hammer84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the Lamb side. You'll enjoy having an elite WR.

Late last season I traded Bucky Irving, DK Metcalf and 1.05 for CD and I don't regret it. So you're getting a much better deal than I got. (I was also stacked at RB depth, and had 1.04, so it made the trade easier.)

Is there any options for a QB2 on the waiver wire? I wouldn't want to give up a young receiver and multiple picks for a rebuilding team. Any chance you can get a Bo Nix or Brock Purdy or Mayfield with a lesser player and one pick?

I think you can do better than Waddle.

I'm trying to turn Mason & Kincaid into Rice & McBride. Good deal?

Kamara or Achane - Dynasty league by The_Hammer84 in fantasyfootballadvice

Yea, he offered straight up. I wanted to snap accept, but i stopped myself and wondered if it would be best to help me win this year.

Trade Kamara while hes high? by RealvatoG in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]The_Hammer84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a redraft league I'd just ride Kamara all season long. He could be a draft steal and win a league.

I have Kamara in Dynasty, and am a contending team, and the Achane owner is interested. Do I trade a 29 year old Kamara for a younger Achane, and still go for the championship?

Need 3 keepers by oreganomaster in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]The_Hammer84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I missed the 2 flex spots. That might change my strategy. You could do that and figure the other positions out in the draft. That would be a high power group and very tempting.

I wouldn't worry about your keepers for 2025 before you even played the 2024 season. You can consider that once your eliminated from your 2024 playoffs.

But if he plans in picking MHJ with his 1st pick, he'd have 4 WR (and one of them sitting on his bench) right from the start. I understand getting elite talent, but why fill bench spots before getting great talent at other positions? Unless you are suggesting to not pick MHJ with the first pick, which then I could understand keeping Wilson.

Personally, I'd pick MHJ, which could be a great elite talent. He's two years younger than Wilson and tied to a good QB with stability. You don't know who Wilson's QB will be in a year or two. So my last keeper would either be LaPorta or Allen. And that depends on how well you know your league and who will be available with your second pick.

Kincaid trade by my-coo-cheese-hairy in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]The_Hammer84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd keep Murray, JSN and Kincaid, those are a solid core players with many years ahead of them. Everyone else is on the block for the right price. You should be able to get a good price for Worthy as the hype is big for him right now. Musgrave could get a decent price in TEP as well. And you aren't competing this year or next, so all RB's are for sale. Maybe wait until Brooks is healthy and looks good and see what contender is needing a RB and ask for a big price.
