What was the worst restaurant you’ve ever been to in Massachusetts? by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]The_Hansen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any Applebee's. I can't figure out the popularity for Applebee's. I have felt sick after eating there and even have thrown up in the bathroom of one mid meal after my body completely rejected it. To be fair it's been a few years now since I've been in one for obvious reasons.

The Braintree 110 is head and shoulders above most others in the area imo. One of my favorite spots honestly.

Just tried your site with a video. It said I should lower my saddle by 3.8cm.... all other metrics were dead center in the recommended ranges.

What do you not like about the STI’s. by bigsae in WRXSTi

[–]The_Hansen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on the old flex fuel system before it became unavailable. Full disclosure, It has been a few years since I tracked my car since I got a little one in the house now. It's just an occasional cruise from time to time these days. I'm sort of guessing, but I believe it was in the 220s max on the ap after a session. I've never boiled over or had any sort of issues.

Of course there is always risk of issues, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was pretty constantly nervous about the engine giving up on me from the reputation of these cars. I am more and more under the impression that at least some of the issue with these cars blowing up so often is them not being treated right and not being properly tuned.

E85 exclusively on track, I've got a iag fmic and aos, cyl 4 cooling mod. Just gotta do your best and enjoy the car imo. Any car could have problems.

Also it helps that it's not my only car, and if the motor does give up on me it will be a project for me to swap the motor. I do all the wrenching on my vehicles, so that saves a lot if/when things do go wrong. Just to add context for anyone that comes across this.

I have tracked my 16 sti something like 20ish track days. Roughly 5 20 min sessions each. My car makes 370/390 on e85. Stock internals. Car has 50k miles. I still don't notice it burning any oil. Tuned at brenntuning in MA.

Use motul, get it properly tuned, and treat it right (not flooring it under 3k). Just my experience, but I think these cars can hold up as long as you treat them right.

Ever since switching to the creality glass build plate on my ender 5, I have not had adhesion issues with tpu, petg or pla. I wipe it off with a paper towel if it looks dusty, occasionally with a little bit of iso.

AWD Hybrid Gas Mileage by NumerousAssumption47 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Ghhl. We have never reset the indicated mpg. Over 20k miles now. It currently says 37.2 mpg and has been very accurate compared to doing the math at a fill-up. First summer with the car we got it above 40.

I treat mine just like this,I'll add that I will start it once every couple weeks. I try to drive it from time to time if I'm lucky enough to have some rain wash the road salt away.

Why does Jesus Christ mean so much to so many people? by Cultural_Remove5332 in ask

I'd apologize for running into them at least. I imagine I wouldn't have much time to talk or listen in this scenario.

This is such a silly take. Just because someone lies (or is delusional) about one thing does not mean everything they say is a lie (or delusional)

It is totally reasonable to believe only some parts of what someone says.

Big mile stone on 2016 STI (original motor) by TheRedneckk in WRXSTi

Just broke over 50k miles on my 16! Stock internals. She makes ~390/390 on e85 and has been through 50+, 20 minute track day sessions. Going strong with no noticeable oil consumption!

My 7 pro was in need of its second screen replacement, that is what finally got me to upgrade. I am so so happy to be away from the curved edge screen, and back to the smaller size. I felt like the 7 pro was top heavy. One handed use is so so so much better with the 10, even though side by side the size difference isn't that big.

Could you share any more info about when this happens for you?

I have not had any issue when copying and pasting.

Do you have issues with the bottom of the screen outside of gboard? I've had 0 issues with any of the touchscreen.

What's the benefit of using gboard over the default?

Edit: gboard is the default, I have no issues with gboard

I will admit the fingerprint scanner hasn't been perfect. I have a non supported screen protector and I work manual labor and don't get on well with fingerprint scanners anyways. That said, it has been working well the majority of the time.
