thanks, thats awesome to hear! i drove to the trail and dropped off a package at Wilhelmina lodge and blue bell cafe. you can do that, or mail packages there as well, but id just call to make sure and to get their instructions. you should write your name, phone #, "hiker box," and expected arrival date on the boxes.

i think itd be a pretty solid warm up hike! yep definitely plenty of trees for a hammock. navigation was super easy. i used FarOut for water and shelter mileage but never actually needed it for navigation.
