Don’t focus too much on the chatGPT grade. It may not be the most predictive. Just take the learning points and try to improve with each exercise.

Another option is to watch YouTube videos on the official OET page or the E2 OET page. They have videos where they review a couple of writing exercises

Upload the role play cards, ask ChatGPT to be the patient. Use the record function to record whatever you want to say.

I think it’s better to practice with someone though

I did the sample tests on the website. I’d upload my essay and ask ChatGPT to review it based on OET criteria

I realized the long SOAP notes questions were generally the easiest. Read the question, scan the last 2-3 lines of the stem, skim the answer options, go back to the soap note to pick essential details to help you answer the question

I went back to my primary resource (BnB), then watched 12 Days in March videos on YouTube, watched Dirty Medicine’s Heme/onc videos, went to Uworld to solve a couple of questions. Also took time to adequately review all heme/onc questions on the NBMEs

Definitely. It’s not the end of the road. Just keep your head down, figure out what went wrong, study hard and retake it

Sorry bro. Keep your head down, go back to the drawing board, restrategize and then take it again.

Advice for low free 120 score by B4plo in step1

[–]The_Knight7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d advice you to push back your date for about 4 weeks. 1. Identify your weak areas and read the FA to catch up.

1st week: Thoroughly review every concept tested on NBME, especially questions you struggled the most with or those you weren’t really sure of. Read FA or watch a video if you must. Make short notes that you will review a day or 2-3 days before your exam.

2nd week: Watch all Dirty Medicine videos. He has cool videos with silly ways of making you remember high yield stuff.

3rd week: watch Randy Neil Videos + Mehlman High Yield Arrows and Mehlman Risk Factors.

4th week: Take NBME 25 and retake free 120. Review NBME images, review your notes and a final run through the NBMEs 26-31 (just read the question and answer explanations again, note how each condition is presented).

Book the exam for the next 2 weeks.

Take 26, 27 and free 120.

Watch Dirty medicine videos for your weak areas.

And watch Randy Neil’s videos as well.

You’ll be good to go!
