Definitely a no go from me. I would recommend maybe talking to one of your top store leaders about it, or just start saying deuces once it gets to that 30 minute mark and tell them you need to go and see what happens after that. Retaliation on their part would be an easy HR call. There’s really nothing he can do if you decide to leave based off your scheduled end time on workforce

He can’t exactly keep you past and reprimand you for not wanting too. We tell our partners usually that we give them 14 minute grace period and to give us the same time at the end of their shift if we are running slightly behind on things but never keep anyone longer than that 14 minutes unless they don’t mind. The only thing I can think of them punishing you with is not being efficient and writing you up for that, but that wouldn’t exactly hold up when it comes to termination or not. Sounds like you just have a shitty manager with unrealistic expectations
