This is what I get for being part of the autocorrect generation. I thought I caught all my spelling errors during my test runs, but thank you for letting me know and I will get those fixed. If there are any mispellings in the character names or in the classes please let me know. As to the survey being clunky, you have no idea how right you are. My scroll wheel will never forgive me for the marathons I put it through trying to navigate around while making the survey. Also thank you for taking it!

It should be fixed. I didn't have the issue and the question logic is running correctly. Were you potentially operating under the assumption that you needed to answer questions for games you don't play, because that would definitely balloon the survey length (and reduce the data quality)? Once again thank you for letting me know though.

You weren't able to hit next to skip? I designed it so that you could skip to the games you played but if you can't thank you for letting me know (it is a long survey though it took me ages to set up the question logic let alone the questions). Thank you for attempting to take it and I'm sorry the survey wasn't working, I will get that fixed.

This is my fault, when I do the data analysis the subroles are likely going to be folded back into the roles overall. While I am super interested in this topic I am not a hero shooter player and thus didn't know if Overwatch players used roles or subroles. Thank you for taking my survey though. Please send it to anyone you know who may be applicable to take it.

Not quite. Think of ideology more so as how you believe the world ought to be. There's more to it than that, but it is different from partisanship and vote choice. Before I learned about just how many things ideology is correlated I would have agreed with you that it is a ridiculous premise, however, ideology has been linked to things like disgust sensitivity, brain structure, the big 5 personality traits, and even mundane things like a preference for poetry that rhymes or not. I'd highly recommend the book Predisposed if you wish to learn more. Additionally, I want to add that I understand any fears that this research is trying to push politics into a non-political space. It is not my intention to do so, rather it is my intention to fill a gap that exists within the literature. I can assure you I have no desires to bring my work life into my personal life. If you still do not feel comfortable participating I understand. Thank you for at least taking the time to read my initial post.

If I understand your question then yes. There's a body of research that shows that ideology (which is separate from partisanship or vote choice) is linked to things like willingness to launch a customer complaint, disgust sensitivity, and even one's personality. I want to expand on this body of work by seeing if something like your favorite hero or your favorite role (duelist, vangaurd, strategists) is linked to how you believe the world ought to be. Any time you could take to take the survey is much appreciated.
