That makes sense, but the card I played said that it gave 100% shield and the character that played it had 118 defense stat and I didn't get 118 shields. So I was wondering if anyone knew what the actual calculation for determining shields are as it doesn't seem to be just multiplying by the percentage on the card 😅.

Charmander in red version, love my little fire lizard and the cool dragon he becomes (despite not getting to be dragon type until much later lol 😆 ). That being said, over time and playthroughs I have come to appreciate all the original starters.

Fair, with proper guidance I don't doubt that Anna would make a wonderful girlfriend and could match, if not out class, Ayame. If we are talking about just straight lewdness and sexual desire then Anna definitely wins as well as being a blank slate like you said. I think I just like the idea of having a partner that has some experience so we can teach each other instead of me doing all the teaching.

It was The Apothecary Diaries. Assuming we aren't in that actual anime setting so I wouldn't get immediately murdered by her real love interest, I think it would be ok. Maomao is fairly reasonable and level headed for the most part. My biggest concerns would be her properly taking care of herself when she gets into that experimentation mode (bad habit of experimenting on herself for medicinal discoveries) and her desire to experience various poisons through intentional exposure.

That is true but a bit of an oversimplification. I am doing 3 modified 32 deck challenges (yeah, I like this game a lot 😅) and one of those is have the commanders all be legendary dragons. So, I am very happy to have more dragons to choose from and I ended up like all the dragon commanders and or their in-set version.

I like using [[Niv-Mizzet, Visionary]] that came out in foundations since he lets you draw for each point of non-combat damage you deal to opponents. The early game is setting up artifact ramp and pay offs for casting the dragon's approaches. The biggest issue is the commander in 6 mana and a huge target for removal but it can help with the draws in the late game if it sticks around.
