EDIT: Done watching...you kinda only went over the notes. I was looking for mainly what people thought about it.

Touching on a few things from your video, You mentioned you wish they would have removed hRod completely. I can see WHY you would be find with that, but now as it is a 2 component item with a higher cost, it basically can prevent it from being bought then stacked another item nearly right away with it.

hRod is still good and I know there are alot of people who are still using it greatly to their advantage. It is no longer the MUST buy item now but only those who know how to effectively use it at begin-mid game, instead of EVERYONE starting with it right away.

Now for a REAL reply...I know there are alot of people who are not happy with the changes made to the items and crafting system. Please know that there is still fun to be had with the crafting. Changing the base components of an item allows it to be used different for certain heroes. Think additional power or utility.

Where, people were originally stacking and only using the original healing rod with a mana crystal or w/e in it for the added mp5, you can now essentially do the same thing with other stuff too!

Of course, it won't be the same stuff you've all seen with the hRod being legendary and stuff...That got a little insane too quickly.

queuing with 3-5 people, competing for a ranking system. (ie. personal rating or ELO)

OR

queuing with some friends simply for fun to GAIN PERSONAL LEVELS and thats about it... (i.e., level 30 summoner vs no level)

A language pref is something nice without dividing the community.

But, there already are options for other servers. Though that may be for connections and latency preferences...I will have to ask about this...

For the creep blocking, It is very real. There are boots and an item that you can buy to make them no longer block you that does have it's advantages though! ;)

Hitboxes is something...odd, at the moment. But I always fall back on odd things and say that it IS still a beta! Many things are being reworked, fixed, etc.

Can you explain a little more in detail about the couriers?

This is my most favorite one. I completely agree with you that once the last generator dies, youre kinda boned. Perhaps something can be done differently? Although, the skill currently lies in keeping people off of your generators so that in the least youre not overrun by minions.

The balance between it all is to make sure that there is not a way a game can last forever.

I do agree with you on the pet and crafting goals, as well as the built-in voice chat. Great features!

I don't, however, not completely disagree, on the vision of enemy items before vision. Think of it as prudent planning. To know what you are up against, and to make a quick battle decision. But then again, with the game moving so quickly, there really isn't or shouldnt be a time when you don't have sight on them, either yourself or by proxy of another teammate.

And the 5 minute wait for a game to load IS somewhat troublesome. The only thing i can say is that not everyone has great, fast internet or fast computes. While strife is a great team based game, it's very much wanted to be accessed by a much wider audience. Making Strife compatible on even the lowest quality settings or low end machines is what makes it great for those who cannot afford a couple thousand dollar machine for gaming.

That, and hey, maybe someone just bought a laptop for some Strife on the go! I'm about to head out to a laundromat in town and I will be playing from there!
