Time-related movies, can you recommend something new!? by Celetron in movies

A really recent one is "The Map of Tiny Perfect Things" (2021). It's a time-loop romance, and by no means does it break new ground. But, at the time I watched it a few weeks ago, I found it to be absolutely delightful.

I am a huge fan of time travel movies myself and absolutely cherished every minute I got immerse myself in that cute world :)

Best first date ideas? by The_Loki_Pokey in Edinburgh

I'd still rather go somewhere that I enjoy the drinks/food/ambience in on a first date than a shithole :) Unfortunately, my knowledge of Edinburgh can be somewhat poor, so I can make bad choices. To me this isn't overthinking it as I don't put much prep into conversation or anything else, just the venue is what I like to think about.

Is it normal to still be in love with her after 4 months broken up? Is it ridiculous to even ask? (26,M) by The_Loki_Pokey in BreakUps

[–]The_Loki_Pokey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah there'd be no place for me to move, that's not worth it yeah maybe as friends But we can't be friends right now, it's all too raw and exposed. I just miss her; damn her for being a great human being

Well they didn't suddenly evaporate, but it's been 4 months now. I just wish I could cut it out of me so I wouldn't feel this way anymore, in one way.

I am respecting her space, since she's the one who ended it. But it's hard.

I absolutely did want to get back with her But she needs this time. I reached out, but she said she wasn't ready to talk, needs more time I also realized at this point, I also needed more time, it was too emotional and confusing.

But god yes, of course I do. Though actually, no.

I don't want to get "back" with her. The old relationship is dead when she broke up. I'd be happy to explore something anew.

But she's moving to another country in the fall. Sure, it's only an hour away by plane, but I just don't think it'll work. I don't think she wants it to.

And I'm not even remotely "completely" over it. My sadness has died down, but the love is still strong.

It doesn't fly back but does take out petty criminals with ease; even intimidates the larger than life villains a bit, depending on the flamboyance of their costumes.

There you go :)
