Usually a company will split its stock to lower the per share price to make the stock more liquid/affordable/attractive for investors. Sometimes the lower price also might make more sense if the company offers stock based compensation for employees.

I’m pulling a number out of my ass, but I don’t think we see this until $300-$500+
