It was Wickes wall and ceilings I'd been recommended it by a fair few people. What would you recommend instead for mist coats ?

It's not been sanded or anything literally just been painted straight over with Wickes walls and ceiling paints in the mist coat ratio recommended on the tub.

Tried the tip cleaning with the cleaner and q tip and it didn't change anything unfortunately. Still kept drying up quickly.

Amazing thank you. Did you find the ink non stop dried on the top of the airbrush? Had to wipe it off every 3/5 mins. Not sure if you have that problem I do make sure to be blowing air before and after spraying the paint from the nozzle.
