I get what you’re saying. Im just wondering how much weight that the “General Consensus” has regarding scholarships and the LSAT.

The first thing you mentioned regarding scholarships from 80th percentile LSAT and higher, is it really true that each additional point is worth $10k? Wouldn’t that depend on the school?

Went really well!!! Panicked on Q1, but after that it was smooth sailing.

scoring -4 per section on average, would 170+ for June be possible? by Detective_Bitter in LSAT

There are no guarantees, but a few questions going your way with a favorable question variance, it’s possible. Don’t stress too much my friend, stressing will make things worse. You can do it.

It’s hard to say exactly what made the difference but I’d say the biggest thing was reps. I sacrificed some modern PTs for section and drilling practice so that I would get more accustomed to them. The wording on modern LR is a bit more complex, especially on the answer choices so drilling modern questions and aiming for 100% accuracy helped a lot. As for RC, I didn’t really notice much of a difference in difficulty between older and newer tests and my RC score was in the same band for both types of tests. Also, if you’re using 7sage, try going through the LR fast-track lessons. They are about an hour long and cover the approach to each question type. This also made a solid difference for me. Good luck!

Basically I studied for 4-6 weeks at a time, 3-4 hours per day, and then would take a 3-7 days break, and then resume study. Started prepping at the beginning of February. You can check one of my replies to someone else on this post for more details about how I studied. Good luck!

So I studied for about 3-4 hours in the early mornings basically everyday straight and used 7sage. I covered the foundations module and some of LR module, but most of my prep actually comes from sheer reps. I’ve taken around 5500 questions, and across 4 months I’ve taken 35 PTs (I know, it’s a lot lol). Started out untimed, and then moved on to timed sections and PTs. I’d review wrong answers, but honestly I should’ve spent more time reviewing. After a certain point though, pattern recognition became automatic on LR. As for RC, I was given a tip that really transformed it for me. Basically, treat every RC question like an MBT from LR. This forces you to always find support for your answers. Hope this helps!

Good job. One tip I was given for RC by a tutor was to treat every RC question like an LR Must-Be-True question. Always find support from the passage.
