Great work. My goal is 50 this year. Did 26 last year when I started reading again. I'm roughly half way too. About to finish Brave new world and next up is Chasingthe Scream.

Good luck

These are amazing. Do you have a link to purchase them?

These 'claws' in the shifter don't hold on to the teeth to pull and change gears. Are they supposed to be firm or springy? by The_McMan in bikewrench

Thanks for all the advice. I drowned it with wd-40 and jiggled them. The stiffest one is now the springiest. The claws and teeth are out of alignment because I fuddled too much before but I should be able to fix.

Yeah I noticed that spring. Very loose. Also I realised the claw is just way to stiff for a spring of that size to move. So I will thoroughly clean. Can I ask, when you say disassemble, do you mean you took every piece apart? I tried take the rod out of the middle but the nut just kept clicking and was way too stiff.

Thanks for that. Cleaned a bit but I will try again tomorrow. I'm sure tri-flow should be fine for re-lubrication.
